A toy vehicle track piece of present application includes one or more connectors. Thus, two track pieces can be connected directly to each other without any additional pieces (e.g., without separate connectors pieces or pins). Moreover, the connectors are specifically designed so that young children can easily connect and disconnect two track pieces without parental intervention. Additionally or alternatively, the track pieces presented herein, as well as accessories associated therewith, may be designed to assemble at specific grid locations so that any configuration of track pieces can be connected together to form a closed track path.

Toy vehicle track

Toy vehicle track systems and connectors for those systems are disclosed. The connectors include a central portion, first and second end portions, and first and second side portions. The central portion includes first and second posts, and a third larger post disposed between the first and second posts. In some embodiments, the third post includes a living hinge to allow for increased vertical displacement of the first, second, and/or third posts when a downward force is applied to the third post. In some embodiments, the central portion includes descending and ascending parts to allow for increased vertical displacement of the first, second, and/or third posts when a downward force is applied to the third post. In some embodiments, the connectors include a plurality of bumps to increase frictional engagement between the connector and the track sections.

Toy vehicle track systems and connectors for same

A toy vehicle playset includes a base, a platform, and a launcher. The base is configured to support the platform on a support surface, where the platform is rotatably coupled to the base and configured to rotate about a vertical axis with respect to the base. The launcher is coupled to the base via a launch track. The platform includes at least one track disposed within the top surface of the platform, at least one ramp extending upwardly from the top surface of the platform, and at least one overhead track extending from the ramp over the top surface of the platform. The at least one track, at least one ramp, and at least one overhead track form a continuous track on the platform. The launcher is configured to launch a toy vehicle onto the continuous track of the platform as the platform rotates about the vertical axis.

A toy vehicle track set is provided. The toy vehicle track set comprises a plurality of track segments. Each track segment of the plurality of track segments has a coupling portion and a plurality of lanes for toy vehicles to race along. The plurality of track segments may be collectively positioned in a racing configuration or a transport configuration. The track segments are coupled together to form a multi-lane raceway in the racing configuration. One or more track segments of the plurality of track segments are positioned to form a rectilinear transport structure in the transport configuration.
