An apparatus can include a processor; memory; a touchscreen display; a network interface; a camera that includes a lens; an operating system executable by the processor to establish an operating system environment; applications that execute within the operating system environment to establish corresponding application states where the applications include a camera application to establish a camera state; a housing that houses at least the processor and the camera and that includes a surface where the surface includes an opening for the lens of the camera; a cover that includes a flap where the flap includes a closed orientation with respect to the opening and an open orientation with respect to the opening; and circuitry that switches from an existing application state to the camera state responsive to a transition of the flap from the closed orientation to the open orientation.

In accordance with embodiments herein an electronic device is provided comprising a housing, a display, and a camera assembly including a camera and an articulating support that includes a base and a main leg joined to the base. The base and main leg movably coupled to the housing wherein movement of the articulating support defines camera alignment paths followed by the camera when moving between a retracted position and active positions.

In one aspect, a device includes a housing with a top portion and a bottom portion, a display coupled to at least a portion of the housing, at least one light source coupled to at least a portion of the bottom portion of the housing, and a cord coupled to at least a portion of the device. The cord protrudes from at least a portion of the device and is manipulable to actuate the light source to project light downwardly at an oblique angle with respect to a top to bottom dimension established between the top portion and the bottom portion.

One embodiment provides a method comprising: associating, using a processor, an accessory with an information handling device; detecting, using a processor, a trigger event associated with the information handling device; determining, using a processor, the accessory is no longer within a predetermined proximity to the information handling device; and providing, using a processor, a notification to a user. A process of pairing a wireless PAN (personal area network) device with a system can be facilitated first by assuming default PIN codes that are traditionally used with wireless PAN devices and then by attempting such presumed default codes before querying the user for input. Accordingly, a cumbersome task conventionally required of the user is most often removed. Also, the devices that are paired and connected are preferably graphically conveyed on a display or graphical user interface (GUI) in a manner that solidly implies that each PAN device is connected only to its system, and not (directly) to other PAN devices.

In one aspect, an apparatus includes a base supportable on a surface, a support rod having a long segment extending upwardly from the base and a short segment extending laterally away from the long segment and terminating at a free end. The long segment is longer than the short segment. The apparatus also includes a coupling located at the free end of the short segment which is configured to couple the short segment to a computer chassis to establish a clearance space between the short segment, long segment, and chassis to facilitate access to at least one electrical terminal on the chassis below the coupling.
