An improved unit having a base and a plurality of teeth integral with the base and projecting outwardly therefrom. The teeth and base are formed of a suitable elastomeric material, such as natural rubber or urethane rubber. The teeth have conical outer surface and V-shaped notches or openings between adjacent teeth. The teeth have flat, angled surfaces. There are two rows of teeth on each base, respectively, and the teeth are aligned with each other front to back. The base is beveled so that each tooth will have maximum area at the root thereof.

Traction device for tracked vehicle

A skid attachment for a carrying cart has an arcuate cross-section engageable with a pair of wheels at the front of the cart, and is held in position by the engagement of an edge of the attachment with the underside of the frame of the cart as forward motion of the cart is begun. The wheels rotate about the inner periphery of the attachment during this preliminary movement, in which the attachment simply rolls along the ground a few inches until the contact with the frame is made.

An improved tracked vehicle that allows a substantial increase in a driven area supporting a vehicle without any proportional increase in weight of the vehicle itself. The vehicle can be driven over soft snow and mud so as to cause no damage to the terrain. The vehicle can be amphibious and can be highly maneuverable and capable of passing over different types of obstacles in its path. It can move at reasonable speed over sand, mud and swamp. The vehicle has special tracks and a T-bar assembly which keeps tension on the tracks at all times. The vehicle also has resilient finger-type grousers bolted to the tracks of the vehicle.

Low impact tracked vehicles

Apparatus including an expandable bellows having a pair of end plates, one plate being provided with a fluid inlet and the other plate being provided with a fluid outlet. A diffuser and filter is located within the bellows across the fluid path between the inlet and outlet. Thus, fluid at an elevated temperature entering the bellows must flow first through the diffuser, then through the filter before leaving the space within the bellows. In this way, the fluid is filtered before passing to and through the outlet. The expansion capability of the bellows provides a heat exchange relation between the fluid and the bellows itself. A pressure relief cap can be coupled to an outlet port communicating with the interior of the bellows. The inlet is adapted to be coupled to the waste line of a fluid pump of a hydrostatic system and the outlet is adapted to be coupled to the supply line of the fluid pump.
