A method for processing light energy is provided that includes receiving a plurality of photons reflected by an object and generating sensor data that is based a portion of the plurality of photons received. The sensor data is processed in order to generate processed sensor data. A segment of the processed sensor data that directly corresponds to the portion of the plurality of photons is displayed such that the segment may be viewed.

System and method for processing and displaying light energy

A system and method for combining image data are disclosed. Sensor data sets () are received from sensors (). An image metric () with slots () is generated by repeating the following for each sensor data set () until a final slot () of the image metric () is reached: generating display data from a subset of a sensor data set () for a slot () of the image metric, and generating display data from a subset of a next sensor data set () for a next slot () of the image metric (). An image generated from the image metric () is displayed.

Method and system for combining image data

A reticle adapter ( ) for judging distance from an object ( ) is used with a viewing apparatus (A) to detect relative positions of signals from at least two spaced apart marker devices ( ) formed on a first object ( ). An image of the relative positions of the markers is created within a field of view ( ). A reticle projecting member ( ) is removably mounted on the viewer (A). The reticle is selected to form a control area within which simultaneous appearance of at least two images of the spaced apart markers indicates that the first object ( ) is at a distance at least as great as a desired distance from the viewer.

Night convoy maneuver system

A black-out curtain system (S) reduces undesired viewing by an external observer (O) through an opening (,) in a barrier (,) into an interior space (,). A filter sheet (,) that transmits Electro-Magnetic (EM) radiation (,) is adapted to intercept EM radiation originating in the interior space (,) from exiting the interior space (,) through the opening (,). The filter sheet (,) suppresses EM radiation below a selected cut-off frequency (C), and passes EM radiation above the selected cut-off frequency. An internal night viewer (,) detects only EM radiation having a frequency above the selected cut-off frequency (C). An interior illumination source (,) supplies the interior space (,) EM radiation having a frequency below the selected cut-off frequency (C).
