A baby bathtub having a base with a reservoir therein in which the baby is supported and an outwardly extending headrest and leg rest that support the baby's head and legs when the baby is in the reservoir. The headrest and leg rest are pivotally connected to the base so that they can move from the extended operative positions to a retracted position over the base for convenient storage or toting of the bathtub.

A bed side rail particularly suitable for use by childred has a protective panel which carries a pair of arms that fit under a mattress to support the panel at the edge of a bed. Hinges connect the panel to the arms so that the panel may be moved between an operative position wherein it extends upwardly from the arms above the level of the mattress to an inoperative position wherein it extends downwardly from the arms out of the way. The panel carries a flashlight which may readily be removed from the panel by a small child. The flashlight has an actuator in the grip which turns the flashlight on when the handle is grasped by the child, and the light will remain on for a selected period after the child replaces the flashlight in the pocket of the panel and releases the actuator. The flashlight is retained in the pocket so that it will not fall out when the panel is moved between operative and inoperative positions and yet may be removed from the pocket by the child when desired.

Bed side rails

The diaper pail assembly includes a pail, a ring rotatably mounted on the mouth of the pail and a cover connected to the ring. A disposable trash bag lines the pail and the mouth of the trash bag overlaps the ring and is grasped between the cover and ring. By turning the cover and ring, the trash bag is twisted closed. A chute in the cover through which soiled diapers are placed in the pail has inner and outer lids to close the chute.

A baby monitor receiver in the form of a wristwatch. A holder including a stand and cradle is provided for the receiver so that it may be stood on a flat surface or clipped to the clothing of the person attending to the baby.

A combination booster seat and high chair having a back member and a pair of arm panels pivotally connected to the sides of the back member. The arms move between an operative position wherein they are disposed essentially perpendicular to and extending forward of the back member and an inoperative position wherein they lie in a plane closely adjacent to and parallel with the back member. A seat is detachably connected to both the back member and the arms panels and may be pivoted to a vertical position on the back member when the unit is in the inoperative position so that the seat panel lies between the back member and the side panels. A tray is detachably connected to the side panels and may be removed when the unit is in the inoperative position and stored adjacent the seat between the back member and the arm panels. The height of the seat may be varied by inverting it in the operative position, and the tray may be adjusted toward and away from the back member.
