An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute instructions to detect a visual event based on image data, the visual event representative of an activity associated with a likelihood of noise, the image data associated with a video stream output by a camera associated with a user device, and in response to the detection of the visual event, apply an audio filter to a portion of an audio stream corresponding to the image data in the video stream.

Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture for user-to-avatar mapping and adjustment are disclosed. An example apparatus includes processor circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine readable instructions to: determine a dissonance between a first orientation of a user in a real-world environment and a second orientation of an avatar in a virtual environment, the avatar corresponding to the user; determine an avatar adjustment value based on the dissonance; and apply the avatar adjustment value to the avatar model to change the second orientation.

Embodiments are generally directed to a flexible overlapping display. An embodiment of a mobile device includes a processor to process data for the mobile device, a bendable and foldable display screen, one or more device sensors to sense an orientation of the mobile device, and one or more display sensors to sense a current arrangement of the display screen. Decision architecture for autonomous systems

Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a substrate, a heat source on the substrate, and a heat pipe. The heat pipe includes a plurality of bumps that extend from the heat pipe towards the substrate but do not come into contact with the substrate. The bumps are configured to help mitigate radio frequency interference in the electronic device. More specifically, the bumps can be configured to provide a resonant frequency in a specific radio frequency band and act as a radio frequency filter.

The base of a laptop can curve as the laptop lid is opened due to left and right base portions being pulled inward to a bisector of the base. Base portions can be pulled inwards by a bending strap pushed upwards by a lifter spring, by base hinges that rotate inwards, or a shape memory allow wire laced around pulleys that contract when heated. A display device with dynamic curvature can curve due to a rack and pinion linear actuator that extends or shortens adjustable rods housed in the display support. A base or display can be curved based on the context of the computer device or in response to certain events. The curvature of a base or display can be tunable by a user. Curved bases and displays can reduce wrist and eye strain.
