A nail lamp is configured to cure light-curable nail product on a user's nails. The lamp includes an array of discrete light sources with different light wavelength profiles. The different wavelength profiles are configured to, in combination, cure a light-curable nail product. A space is disposed beneath the array and is sized to accommodate therein the nails of an appendage of a user so as to expose the user's nails to light from the array. The space is substantially open to the ambient environment to the front, rear, left, right, and top of the space, thereby providing an open architecture.

Nail lamp

A nail lamp is configured to cure light-curable nail product on a user's nail. The lamp includes a base and a support with discrete light sources that each may emit with the same or different light wavelength profiles, and each may emit continuously or with the same or different pulsing functions. The lamp also includes source reflectors and a ring reflector. The different wavelength profiles are configured to, in combination, cure a light-curable nail product. The pulsing function is used to cure the nail product more efficiently. The source reflectors and ring reflector are used to target specific areas of the nail. A space is disposed between the base and the support and is sized to accommodate therein the nails of an appendage of a user so as to expose the user's nails to light from the discrete light sources.

The present disclosure relates generally to a composition comprising at least one capped oligomer, at least one solvent, at least one film former, and at least one monomer or polymer, said composition having a sward hardness &#x3c;10 and &#x3e;1 when applied to a glass plate.

The present embodiments relate to a nail coating having a major advantage in that it enables a nail coating to adhere to a natural nail or uncoated nail for long wear periods without adhesion loss or other signs of breakdown of the coating. Nail topcoats with improved abrasion resistance are also disclosed. Adhesion of a composition for nail coatings be improved by addition of a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS). Nail coating compositions that benefit from the addition of a POSS include enamels, reactive composition such as those containing acrylates, solventless compositions and water-based compositions.

A lamp includes: a housing; a platform supported by the housing; a left light source disposed on a left side of the lamp; a right light source disposed on a right side of the lamp; a first top light source disposed at least partially above the platform, wherein; the left and right sources extend closer to a front of the lamp than the first top light source; and a space between the platform and the; light sources; to simultaneously receive therein five nails of all five digits of a hand or foot of a user. The positions of the sources and platform may be designed so as to provide substantially uniform light flux to all five nails so as to synchronously and uniformly cure light-curable nail gel or acrylic on the user's nails.
