A backhoe coupling for joining members of a backhoe attachment is provided, the coupling having a pivot pin assembly that includes a pivot pin and a retaining plate. The pin has a groove for receiving the retaining plate. The retaining plate has an edge that is sized to fit into the groove and prevent it from being extracted. The groove has two blocked regions on opposing sides of the pin that prevent the pin from rotating freely with respect to the retaining plate.

A shim for use in combination with a pin and fastener assembly, the pin having a shank portion with an outer diameter and a shoulder on an end of the shank portion, the shoulder defining a reduced diameter portion having threads, the fastener adapted for engagement with the threads on the reduced diameter portion, the shim includes at least one annular member having an inner diameter and an outer diameter with a flat portion at the inner diameter and a cupped portion at the outer diameter, the inner diameter adapted to fit over the outer diameter of the shank portion of the pin, the cupped portion receiving the fastener when the fastener is engaged with the threads on the reduced diameter portion of the pin so as to restrict radial movement of the shim as the fastener is threaded into abutting contact with the shoulder on the pin.

Self aligning shim for a step pin assembly

An apparatus and method is disclosed for limiting rotation of a stabilizer flip pad assembly in a support assembly for a work vehicle to prevent undesired flipping of the stabilizer flip pad assembly, where the support assembly includes a support leg assembly and the stabilizer flip pad assembly, and the stabilizer flip pad assembly is rotatably attached to the support leg assembly. The apparatus includes a locking pin assembly and a restraint arm supported by the support leg assembly, where the restraint arm is rotatable at a rotation axis proximate a first end of the restraint arm. The restraint arm includes a slot configured to receive a locking pin of the locking pin assembly, and a restraint protrusion proximate a second end of the restraint arm and extending perpendicular to a plane of rotation of the restraint arm. The restraint protrusion limits rotation of the stabilizer flip pad assembly when the restraint arm is in an extended position, and allows rotation of the stabilizer flip pad assembly past the restraint protrusion when the restraint arm is in a retracted position.

A quick coupler for attaching various material handling implements to a lift arm. The quick coupler includes an opening on one end for pivotal connection with the lift arm and a slotted end portion for selective engagement with a mounting pin on the implement. An intermediate portion of the quick coupler includes a mounting or coupler pin that extends laterally beyond the sides of the quick coupler. An actuating mechanism including a push-pull link is connected to the quick coupler for rotating it about the end of the lift arm. The quick coupler includes an element which may be used for lifting or positioning objects while the quick coupler is fully attached to the implement. Each implement is provided with a pair of opposed attachment members which include slots for receiving the outer laterally extending portions of the quick coupler mounting pin. After the quick coupler mounting pin is received within the slots in the attachment members, the pin is trapped therein thereby locking the quick coupler to the implement.
