A mobile computing device includes: a housing having a recess configured to receive a latch of a charging cradle to lock the mobile computing device in the charging cradle; a set of charging contacts configured to engage with corresponding power connectors of the charging cradle; and a processor configured to: responsive to detecting an unlock event, determine whether an unlock condition is satisfied; and when the unlock condition is satisfied, cause the charging cradle to release the latch.

Method and system for charge cradle lock control

A system and method tracks a user's eye for a data trigger arrangement. The method includes obtaining first image data within a first vision field of a first data capturing sensor. The method includes determining a first area viewed by a user's eye as a function of the first image data. The method includes obtaining second image data within a second vision field of a second sensor. The method includes determining a second area captured within the second field of vision as a function of the second image data. The method includes determining disposition data of the first area within the second area. When a trigger command is captured, the method includes data capturing a machine readable representation of data (MRRoD) using the second sensor as a function of the disposition data.

Device and method for eye tracking data trigger arrangement

Described is a system and method for charging a battery. The system includes a processor powered by a battery; and a controller determining a remaining battery charge of the battery. The controller sets a first charge current to recharge the battery when the remaining battery charge is insufficient to operate the processor. The controller wakes the processor when the battery has been recharged so that the remaining battery capacity is sufficient to operate the processor. The processor negotiates for a second charge current to recharge the battery. The controller sets the second charge current when the processor successfully negotiated.

System and method for charging a battery

Audible crosstalk can be mitigated in a low-cost three-wire device having audio capability and/or voice applications. In some embodiments, a voltage can be introduced in a microphone power supply that is approximately the same as a measured noise voltage and the resulting voltage appearing at a microphone output can be optimized to mitigate the noise voltage and, thus, the presence of crosstalk. In some embodiments, a microphone within a circuit can be isolated to mitigate crosstalk by introducing current into a circuit that is approximately the same as a measured current, but having a flow in an opposite direction.

Mitigating audible cross talk

A tire pressure monitor continuously indicating to a vehicle operator whether or not each tire on the vehicle, including a spare if present, is adequately inflated for safe &ldquo;over-the-road&rdquo; operation. The monitor includes an indicator associated with each tire to indicate when the air pressure in any individual tire on the vehicle is not inflated to a pressure adequate for safe operation. The monitor also includes a battery operated pressure sensitive radio frequency transmitter mounted on the outer end of a conventional tire valve stem and includes an antenna extending into each tire for transmitting a signal to an indicator assigned to each tire without interference from metal wheel components. The indicators are mounted on the instrument panel or dashboard of the vehicle. The signal transmitted from the transmitter on each tire valve actuates only the indicator associated with and receiving a signal from only the transmitter assigned to each tire.

Vehicle tire air monitor

A system and method are disclosed to facilitate balancing energy among a plurality of energy cells. Charge is transferred between each respective cell and an associated energy storage device by sequentially coupling the storage device with different cells, such that the energy in each of the cells is transferred from cells having a higher potential energy to cells having a lower potential energy through the energy storage device.

System and method to facilitate voltage balancing in a multi-cell battery

First and second ISDN modems are disposed at a subscriber location and telephone system central office and are arranged to operate in a normal mode, and in a bypass mode upon power failure at the subscriber location. The modems are coupled through the telephone lines via interface transformers having centertaps. The centertap at the subscriber location is split and coupled to a sealing current source and that at the central office is coupled to a sealing current detector and ground. Sealing current flows between the respective transformers during normal operation. A drop in sealing current due to subscriber power failure is sensed at the central office, causing local logic to bypass the central office interface transformer and to couple the central office voice switch directly to the telephone lines. Loop current detectors at the subscriber location and at the central office determine whether the subscriber location voice telephone device is on-hook. If power is restored when on-hook, the local logic recouples the output interface transformer to the telephone lines and the voice telephone device is recoupled to the modem. At the same time, the central office detects whether sealing current has been restored and whether the subscriber voice device is on-hook, and recouples its output interface transformer to the telephone lines and the voice switch to the input interface of the central office modem, resulting in restoration of normal operation.
