A product display system includes a hanger support member and one or more product hangers. The hanger support member includes a web having opposite first and second sides. The web has a corrugated profile defining a plurality of channels. A plurality of receiving apertures extend through the web from the first side to the second side and define at least one row of receiving apertures extending across the channels. A first product hanger may be mounted to the first side of the web through the row of receiving apertures and a second product hanger may be mounted to the second side of the web through the row of receiving apertures. The hanger support member may be arranged for use with standard pegboard hooks.

Product display system

A liquid container is in the shape of a bottle with an elongated section at its top in a first position and is convertible to a glass or goblet in a second position with the elongated section at the bottom. The container includes a first end that has a closed end; a second end that has an open end wider than the elongated section, a first body that includes the elongated section, a second body that includes a hollow container, and a closure, which is a detachable closure adapted to seal the open end of the second end in the first position and to be detached from the open end of the second end in the second position.

Convertible liquid container

A product display system includes a hanger support member and one or more product hangers. The hanger support member includes a web having opposite first and second sides. A plurality of receiving apertures extend through the web from the first side to the second side. Each product hanger includes body having an outboard side opposite an inboard side, a product support member extending from the outboard side of the body, and one or more brackets extending from the inboard side for mounting in the receiving apertures. The brackets and the receiving apertures are arranged such that one product hanger may be secured to the first side of the web and a second product hanger may be secured to the second side of the web, wherein the second product hanger is aligned directly opposite the first product hanger.

A liquid container can be present and used in at least two different positions. The liquid container may be a wine container, which can be a wine bottle in its first position and also be a wine glass in its second position. A method of serving a liquid includes placing a container in a first position in which the container serves as a bottle and converting the bottle into a glass or goblet without reassembling any part of the container by placing the container in a second position.

It is related to a liquid container, which may be in the shape of a bottle with an elongated section at its top in a first position and is convertible to a glass or goblet in a second position with the elongated section at the bottom. The liquid container may be a wine container, which can be a wine bottle in its first position and also be a wine glass in its second position. Conversion between the first and second positions can be achieved via a relatively simple and instant way, such as turning a container in one position upside down and placing the container in another position. Such conversion may not need additional process such as disassembling and/or reassembling the container.

The present invention relates to the rapid detection of Group A streptococci in clinical specimens, through the enzymatic digestion by a semi-purified Group C streptococcal phage associated lysin enzyme and the identification of the released antigens, through the reaction of a labelled ligand and its respective antigen or receptor. The labelled ligand can be included during the digestion of the bacteria, enabling the total assay time to be less than five minutes. The lysin enzyme is stabilized and can be lyophilized for in situ reconstitution.

A compartmentalized waiter tray comprised of a light weight, hand carried device which functions in conjunction with a plurality of drink receptacles, or other glasses, removably retained within a plurality of compartments of an industry standard dishwashing rack to provide a quick and easy method for transporting the glasses without subsequent drink receptacle migration due to gravity and inertia and to position the drink receptacles for filling with ice or fluent drinking matter of both via automatic or semi-automatic methods; and the compartmentalized waiter tray is formed with a plurality of compartments extending above the upper surface of the tray in a pre-defined pattern to match the pre-defined pattern which the plurality of drink receptacles occupy within a plurality of compartments of the industry standard dishwashing rack; the plurality of compartments of the compartmentalized waiter tray further comprising an upper surface, internal partitions (which extend upward less than one quarter of the height of the drink receptacle and) align with the internal partitions of the industry standard dishwashing rack and are raised to a lower level than the perimeter partitions which (extend less than one half of the height of the drink receptacle and) surround the outside perimeter partitions of the industry standard dishwashing rack which align the plurality of drink receptacles with the plurality of compartments within the compartmentalized waiter tray, and a refuse bin defined by the upper surface, the raised bevelled edge, and the perimeter partitions to contain debris found within the drink receptacles after they have been used.

Compartmentalized waiter tray

A device and method for a self contained solid phase immunodiffusion assay. The device is comprised of a sample collector, and a pre-fabricated laminate which can be used in many different forms. For example, the same collector and laminate can be used with a tube having compartmentalized reagents. The seals can be broken through pressure on the sample collector. The sample collector is pushed through the seals, mixed with reagent, and then pushed into a ligand receptor reaction area which is part of the laminate. The tip of the sample collector contacts diffusable or porous membranes or filters and transfers the reactants to a capture membrane wherein a ligand receptor reaction can be examined by the naked eye or otherwise.

An ice distribution system comprises a light weight, hand carried ice distribution tray which functions in conjunction with a plurality of glasses, or other drink receptacles, removably retained by a base assembly, or industry standard dishwashing rack, or both to provide a quick easy system for distributing ice, or fluent drinking matter, or both to the plurality of drink receptacles; and the ice distribution tray thereof is formed with a plurality of apertures formed through the bottom of the tray, which plurality of apertures are arranged in a predefined pattern to match the pattern which the plurality of drink receptacles occupy on the base assembly, or industry standard dishwashing rack, or both, and is also formed with short protruding lip members extending from each of the plurality of apertures which maintain the plurality of apertures in alignment with the plurality of drink receptacles during the process of filling the plurality of drink receptacles with ice, or fluent drinking matter, or both.

A sandwich immunoassay method is disclosed that is useful for the identification of an antigen in biological specimens. The method is comprised of a colloidal gold labeled binder specific for epitopes or receptors of a ligand, nonporous particulate solid phase which have antiligand covalently attached, and which said reagents are combined with the biological specimen or an extract of the biological specimen, and after an appropriate incubation, the said reactant mixture is contacted to a porous film having an exposed surface area of contact no greater than 30 mm.sup.2 to separate and concentrate the particle bound colloidal gold labeled binder from the unbound. The identification of an antigen is determined by the presence of color on the surface of the solid phase particles captured on the surface of the film. A competitive inhibition assay can be also used to identify the presence of a hapten or antigen, in which case the presence of the analyte is determined by the absence of color.

Device for self contained solid phase immunodiffusion assay

An assay utilizing receptor or antibody sensitized liposome particles which have ATP encapsulated therein. The ATP is released by lysing the liposomes, and detected by means of luciferin-luciferase reagent and a luminometer. The assay provides a very sensitive process for detecting the presence of analytes such as antigens and DNA probes.

An analyte is determined quantitatively by an agglutination assay by use of a method which includes the use of at least two analyte standards having different analyte concentrations; an analyte supported on a particulate support; specific binder for the analyte and buffered diluent for making serial dilutions of an analyte sample. The assay is preferably conducted on a test card which includes a sample portion and a standard portion, with the sample portion having a series of separated marked dilution areas for receiving dilutions of an analyte sample and the standard portion including separated marked standard areas for receiving analyte standard of different analyte concentration. By addition of binder and particles sensitized with analyte to the serial dilutions and standards, analyte can be determined quantitatively by multiplying the lowest standard concentration at which there is no visible agglutination by the highest reciprocal dilution of test sample which similarly shows no visible agglutination.
