Transfer apparatus designed as a mobile, generally C-shaped frame assembly including top and bottom portions removably connected by at least one spacer and a seat adapted to support a patient in a sitting or suspended sitting position at multiple levels. A horizontal part of the top portion is a seat support, the bottom portion is a wheeled base, and spacers fix a selected height of the seat support. The apparatus operates on patient support surfaces with and without vertical movement capability, enables use of a commode over and away from the bed by the patient in a seating position, and enables changing of a seat under the sitting patient. The transfer apparatus provides a cost effective, lightweight, rigid, without moving parts mobile seat support assembly as a commode/wheelchair (C/W) capable of performing multifunctional safe patient transfer to and from patient support surfaces with and without vertical movement.

Mobile seat supporting transfer apparatus

A patient lateral repositioning system to move a patient positioned on a patient support of a bed. The system includes a mounting and a pulling system. To enable strength and compactness of the entire system, the mounting is a constructive element removably attached to the support surface to form an integrated structure able to withstand a pulling force to move the patient on any type of a bed positioned apart and independent from the patient lateral repositioning system and the support surface. The pulling system is a set of components including at least one retainer, a guiding element, a drive, a gripper and at least one flexible pulling cable supported by the guiding element and connecting the drive with the gripper.

Patient repositioning system and method of moving a patient body or limb

A patient transfer assembly for moving a sheet on a structure having a transfer surface. The patient transfer assembly includes a gripper adapted for attachment to the sheet, a drive shaft, a cable connected to the gripper and connected to the drive shaft, and a handle connected to the drive shaft for rotating the drive shaft. The handle is adapted to be positioned at a level that is ergonomically comfortable for the user during operation of the assembly. The patient transfer assembly may also include an adjustably positionable idler shaft for guiding the cable between the drive shaft and the transfer surface. Further embodiments of the patient transfer assembly may include an adjustably positionable extension arm for rotation of the drive shaft.

Patient positioning assembly

A patient transfer assembly using the movement of a structure as a source of power for moving a sheet across a structure having a transfer surface, a stationary base and a movable platform. The patient transfer assembly includes a gripper adapted for attached to the sheet on the transfer surface and a cable coupled to the gripper and entrained around a guide pulley fixed relative to the movable platform. When the movable platform moves from one position to a second position, the cable pulls the gripper thereby pulling the sheet and moving the patient. The patient transfer assembly may also include a second cable and drive shaft to assist in moving the patient as well as a trapeze to assist in rotating or lifting the patient.

An oil seal tester having a moving shaft for engaging an oil sealing surface of a oil seal and at least one source of fluid to be applied against the moving shaft and against a first side of the oil seal. A force measuring device is used to measure the reaction torque exerted against the seal by the rotating shaft. Adjustments are provided for altering the shaft to bore misalignment and the run out of the rotating shaft.

Oil seal tester

The retainer assembly secures a container in a free upstanding position. A rigid outwardly projecting element defines a stabilizing configuration for disposition adjacent a container at a height location intermediate the top and bottom of the upstanding container. The stabilizing configuration is effective to maintain the container in a stabilized upright position. The projecting element is adapted to connect first and second flexible tie-down lines at an outer free end line coupling section of the projecting element. The first flexible tie-down line has a length effective to extend around an outer periphery of the upstanding container and is connected to firmly maintain the container in the upright position adjacent the stabilizing configuration. A second flexible tie-down line has a length effective to extend over the removable lid member and includes a coupling device for connecting the second flexible line to firmly maintain the lid member on the container.

A bulk loaded coin dispensing machine maintains a supply of coins to be dispensed in a bulk loaded magazine made up of a plurality of layers of coin rolls or tubes, each layer having plural rows and columns of coin tubes resting directly on each other, without intervening portions among the tubes. Coin tubes are stripped from the magazine a row at a time, and then carried by a transport conveyor and an elevator to a dispensing mechanism. The magazine carrier is movable independently of the stripper, conveyor and elevator to allow inventory replacement, and the stripper and conveyor are vertically adjustable in accordance with the decreasing height of the magazine as the coin rolls are dispensed. The stripper, conveyor, elevator and dispenser are operable asynchronously under control of a microprocessor.

Bulk loaded change dispensing apparatus

A ball rebound apparatus includes a part-cylindrical rebound panel with attachment flanges at the lateral extremities thereof and with parallel end walls closing the axial extremities thereof. The panel is mountable on and between two adjustable, triangular support frames, each having a base rail connectable to the ground or other underlying support surface, a mounting rail to which the rebound panel is attached and a support rail connectable to the base rail at various locations for changing the inclination of the mounting rail. The rebound panel is reversible so that it can be mounted with either its concave surface or its convex surface disposed forwardly. It is also mountable with its cylindrical axis disposed in a vertical plane, with the attachment flanges secured to the support frame, or with its cylindrical axis disposed in a horizontal plane, with its end walls secured to the support frame.
