A speaker mounting system comprising a speaker housing configured to house a speaker, a wall mount configured to be mechanically fastened to a wall, and one or more adjustment pieces actuatably connecting the speaker housing to the wall mount. The adjustment pieces may comprise a first adjustment piece fixed to the wall mount and a second adjustment piece slidably and rotatably attached to the first adjustment piece and pivotally attached to the speaker housing. The second adjustment piece may be configured to laterally slide toward and away from the wall mount and to rotate about a first axis and the speaker housing may be configured to rotate or pivot relative to the second adjustment piece about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The speaker mounting system may also comprise a biasing member and locking mechanism for selectively allowing and preventing rotation about the first and second axes.

Speaker mounting system

A speaker system includes a speaker driver loaded by a horn waveguide. The speaker driver reproduces sound within an extended frequency range that includes a high frequency band between 8 kHz and 11 kHz. In the preferred embodiment, the extended frequency range includes a wide frequency band between 2 kHz and 11 kHz (and most preferably including the frequency band between 800 Hz and 11 kHz). The horn waveguide has an axi-symmetrical waveguide surface that provides uniform polar dispersion at dispersion angles greater than 90 degrees for sound within the extended frequency range. The waveguide surface preferably has an annular cross section with a radial dimension that increases curvilinearly from its throat to its mouth, such as a tractroid surface.

Eyeglasses comprises a face and temple. The face has an outer surface including an outer edge. The face also has a first end portion and a first lens opening. The outer edge being proximate to the first end portion. The temple has a portion defining an inner surface. The temple is pivotably coupled to the first end portion of the face. The temple is movable between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration so that the inner surface of the temple portion can move over the outer edge of the face without obstruction.
