A unique, universal Zero-Profile Expandable Intervertebral Spacer (ZP-EIS) device for fusion and distraction throughout the entire spine is provided which can be inserted via anterior, anterolateral, lateral, far lateral or posterior surgical approaches dependent on the need and preference. Multiple ZP-EIS embodiments each with unique mechanisms of calibrated expansion are provided. Two of these embodiments incorporate bi-directional fixating transvertebral (BDFT) screws and five other embodiments do not incorporate BDFT screws. A tool for implantation into the intervertebral device and calibrated device expansion is also disclosed.

A protective device includes an airbag assembly configured to extend at least partially around a waist or hips of an individual; a buckle attached to the airbag assembly, the buckle comprising a first buckle half, and a second buckle half, the first and second buckle halves being attachable to and detachable from one another; and an airbag actuator configured to actuate the airbag assembly. Systems including noise suppression devices for personal impact protection systems are provided. One such system includes an inflator having an inflator discharge port; a flexible permeable inner tube configured to receive gas from the inflator via the inflator discharge port; and a flexible outer tube surrounding the inner tube and configured to receive gas from the inner tube, the outer tube including one or more outer tube discharge ports. Another such system includes an inflator having an inflator discharge port; a flexible non-permeable tube configured to receive gas from the inflator via the inflator discharge port; and a permeable gas diffuser element disposed in or adjacent to the tube, the diffuser element being configured to receive gas from the inflator via the inner tube.

Noise suppression device for a personal impact protection system

An oven appliance includes a cabinet that defines a chamber. A pair of doors is rotatably mounted to provide selective access to the chamber of the cabinet. The pair of doors is connected with a linkage assembly such that the doors rotate open and closed simultaneously. The linkage assembly includes a spur gear that engages another gear of the linkage assembly. The spur gear can hinder unwanted rotation of the pair of doors or compress the pair of doors against a seal.

Oven appliance with dual opening and closing doors

An oven appliance with a cabinet that defines a chamber for cooking food items is provided. A pair of doors is rotatably mounted to provide selective access to the chamber of the cabinet. The pair of doors is connected with a linkage assembly that simultaneously opens and closes the pair of doors. The linkage includes features for rotating one door of the pair at a first angular velocity and for rotating another of the pair of doors at a second angular velocity. An angular velocity differential between the first angular velocity and the second angular velocity can limit impacting or rubbing between the pair of doors during simultaneous opening and closing of the pair of doors.

A surgical clip applicator includes a base housing having a body portion, a movable trigger, a cannula, and a clip application mechanism extending within and through at least a portion of a length of the cannula. The clip application mechanism includes a movable first linkage and a jaw rotatable about a pivot mount. A first actuation of the trigger causes the first linkage to be moved in a linear direction with respect to the body portion and the cannula and the jaw to be rotated in a first direction about the pivot mount, for placing the clip in an open position on the patient's tissue. A second actuation of the trigger causes the jaw to be rotated in second direction about the pivot mount, the second direction being opposite to the first direction, placing the clip in a closed position on the patient's tissue.

The present subject matter provides an oven appliance. The oven appliance includes a cabinet that defines a chamber. A pair of doors is rotatably mounted to provide selective access to the chamber of the cabinet. A linkage assembly connects the doors of the pair of doors such that the doors rotate open and closed simultaneously. The linkage assembly includes a pair of gears that transfer rotational motion of one door to another door of the pair of doors.

One of the pair of doors includes a tongue. Another of the pair of doors defines a groove configured for receipt of the tongue when the pair of doors is in a closed position. The tongue and groove can limit heat loss through a gap between the pair of doors or assist with sealing the pair of doors against the cabinet.
