Disclosed herein are devices, systems and methods for redistributing the normal weight distribution of a user in a standing position. One example is a postural platform for either the left or right foot having a bottom surface defining a reference plane, a top surface configured as a foot contact surface and a perimeter side wall between the bottom and top surfaces. The top surface of the postural platform is rotated about a first rotational axis parallel to the reference plane and rotated about a second rotational axis orthogonal to the reference plane. In another example, a system includes first and second postural platforms that are independent of one another. In other example, the device is a sandal, shoe, sneaker or any foot covering with a tops surface being at a complex angle to a bottom surface. The top surface is tiled downwardly either to the left or right and turned either counter-clockwise or clockwise based on whether it is a respective left or right postural platform.

Postural platform training device

A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.

Devices and method for increasing running performance

Training devices having at least two elastic members are respectively connected to opposing ends of an inelastic member. The training devices have first and second handles coupled to a respective one of the at least two elastic members. The training devices may be used to add various strength training modalities to a cardiovascular workout or fitness regimen. The training devices may be provided in the form of a kit including elastic and inelastic members having differing elasticities, lengths, and widths and including removable handles, potentially of differing types.

Training devices having at least two elastic members connected to a respective end of an inelastic member are disclosed. The training devices comprise first and second handles coupled to a respective one of the two elastic members. The training devices may be used to add various strength training modalities to a cardiovascular workout or fitness regimen. The training device may be provided in the form of a kit including elastic and inelastic members having differing elasticities, lengths, and widths and including removable handles, potentially of differing types.

The present invention is directed to Hand Held Exercise and Fitness Devices that deals with exercise, fitness and therapeutic massage that may be held in the hand and used for a wide range of wrist, forearm and shoulder manipulation, massage and fitness exercises. The preferred embodiment will be in the shape of an Indian club with a light weight handle and a soft flexible polymer head that can have a variety of materials in the inner cavity. The second embodiment will have the head in the shape of a sledge hammer with a long handle and constructed in a similar fashion as the preferred embodiment.

Hand held exercise and fitness device

A skin care method and kit is disclosed that includes instructions for a dietary skin care regimen. The regimen includes a list of prohibited and allowed foods. The list of prohibited foods includes red meat, chocolate, eggs, confections, alcoholic beverages, shellfish, fried foods, and tomatoes. The list of allowed foods includes chicken, turkey, non-fried fish, vegetables, fruit other than a tomato, and olive oil as a salad dressing. The skin care kit further includes a compliance report including the list of prohibited and allowed foods with corresponding data input fields for each food in the list of prohibited and allowed foods. The user indicates an amount of each prohibited and allowed food item consumed by the user in the corresponding data input field. A compliance rating system is disclosed in which the total number of servings of prohibited and allowed foods consumed by the user determines the user's compliance level.

Skin care method and kit

An exercise system consisting of an inflatable assembly and stackable weight elements that can be used to support the inflatable assembly at different elevations. The inflatable assembly presents an inflated curved surface for body support. The stackable weight elements each have annular bodies that can be selectively filled with fill material. Each of the stackable weight elements have crenelated sections that intermesh when the stackable weight elements are vertically and concentrically stacked. The intermeshing of the stackable weight elements enables the stackable weight elements to remain highly stable when stacked and used to support the half-ball assembly.

Exercise apparatus

A point of sale device includes a card mounted on a hanger on a vertically extending mounting structure of a retail shop. The card carries a reusable storage container in which articles are stored. The container includes a body with an opening closed by a transparent, sealable, removable and re-sealable lid. The container is mounted on the card and the device is mounted on the hanger so a prospective purchaser can see the articles through the transparent lid. In one embodiment, the body includes a permanent magnet abutting the base.

Point of sale device

A wallboard wall carries a picture or shelf hanger in a hole between front and back faces of the wall. The hanger includes: a one-piece member having (a) a shoulder having a bottom portion bearing against a bottom portion of the hole and extending horizontally through the hole, (b) an arm extending upwardly from the shoulder, (c) a leg (i) extending downwardly from the shoulder, and (ii) located outside the front face of the wall and (d) a load bearing surface for receiving the object. The arm has a sharp pointed end piercing the back face of the wall and extending into the wall via the back face of the wall.

Wall hanger

A picture hanger has a base portion having a hole for an elongated fastener (nail or screw). The base portion carries a member enclosing a front face or the entire base portion. The member has a through hole aligned with and on one or both sides of the fastener hole. The elongated fastener is held in place in the holes so that the fastener need not be manually held during driving thereof into a picture frame or wall. The member is injection molded on the base portion, and consists essentially of nylon-6,6 having a Shore A hardness in the range of 80-90.
