The invention provides DNA compositions that relate to transgenic insect resistant maize plants. Also provided are assays for detecting the presence of the maize TC1507 event based on the DNA sequence of the recombinant construct inserted into the maize genome and the DNA sequences flanking the insertion site. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are provided.

Corn event TC1507 and methods for detection thereof

The invention provides DNA compositions that relate to transgenic insect resistant maize plants. An inbred maize line, designated PH58C, the seeds and plants of inbred maize line PH58C, methods for producing a maize plant, either inbred or hybrid, produced by crossing the inbred maize line PH58C with another maize plant, and seed and plants produced therefrom. The invention also relates to methods for producing a modified PH58C maize plant that comprises in its genetic material one or more transgenes or backcross conversion genes and to the transgenic and backcross conversion maize plants produced by these methods. This invention also relates to methods for producing other inbred and hybrid maize lines derived from inbred maize line PH58C and to the inbred and hybrid maize lines so produced.

An inbred maize line, designated PH2MW, the plants and seeds of inbred maize line PH2MW, methods for producing a maize plant, either inbred or hybrid, produced by crossing the inbred maize line PH2MW with itself or with another maize plant, and hybrid maize seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line PH2MW with another maize line or plant and to methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic maize plants produced by that method. This invention also relates to inbred maize lines derived from inbred maize line PH2MW, to methods for producing other inbred maize lines derived from inbred maize line PH2MW and to the inbred maize lines derived by the use of those methods.

An inbred maize line, designated PH12C, the plants and seeds of inbred maize line PH12C, methods for producing a maize plant, either inbred or hybrid, produced by crossing the inbred maize line PH12C with itself or with another maize plant, and hybrid maize seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line PH12C with another maize line or plant.

According to the invention, there is provided a hybrid maize plant, designated as 33G26, produced by crossing two Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize lines. This invention relates to the hybrid seed 33G26, the hybrid plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and trivial modifications of hybrid 33G26.

According to the invention, there is provided a hybrid maize plant, designated as 33H67, produced by crossing two Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize lines. This invention relates to the hybrid seed 33H67, the hybrid plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and trivial modifications of hybrid 33H67.
