A climbing product whose sections are extendable having a base section and a fly section. The fly section in sliding engagement with the base section. The climbing product has a lock assembly having a lock fly portion directly attached to the fly section. The lock fly portion directly engages with the base section to lock the base section with the fly section. The lock fly portion has a plunger. The lock fly portion disengages from the base portion by moving the plunger. A method for using a ladder whose sections are extendable. Climbing product having an extendable section lock assembly

A stairway work platform for a user includes a plank, a first leg assembly attached in proximity to a first end of the plank. The work platform includes an end pad directly attached to the first end of the plank which prevents damage to a vertical rise area of the stairway. The work platform includes a first bottom pad directly attached to a front of a first leg of the first leg assembly which prevents damage to a horizontal run area of the stairway while supporting a weight of the user. The work platform includes a second bottom pad directly attached to a front of a second leg of the first leg assembly which prevents damage to the horizontal run area of the stairway while supporting the weight of the user. The work platform includes a hinge bracket attached to the plank in proximity to the first end of the plank and to the first leg of the first leg assembly. In a stairway mode, the first leg assembly is in the closed position and is adapted to be disposed on a stair of the stairway and a second leg assembly is extended to a position which makes the plank level with respect to ground. A system and method for charging battery packs is provided. The system may include a charging pad comprising a power supply, a charging pad surface, and a microcontroller unit. The power supply may provide charging power. The charging pad surface may include a first charging region and a second charging region. The microcontroller unit may control delivery of charging power to the first charging region and the second charging region such that a device placed in contact with the first charging region is given a higher charging priority than a device placed in contact with the second charging region.

A system and method for charging battery packs is provided. The system may include a charging pad comprising a power supply, a charging pad surface, and a microcontroller unit. The power supply may provide charging power. The charging pad surface may include a first charging region and a second charging region. The microcontroller unit may control delivery of charging power to the first charging region and the second charging region such that a device placed on the first charging region is given a higher charging priority than a device placed on the second charging region.

A battery charging system comprises a voltage bus; at least one charging circuit comprising: an input connected to the voltage bus; an output; and a converter connected between the input and the output and configured to provide DC power to the output; a plurality of charging ports, each charging port comprising: an input; and a pair of contacts configured to connect to battery terminals, the pair of contacts being connected to the input to enable a voltage received at the input to be applied across the pair of contacts; and a plurality of switches configured to connect and disconnect the output of the at least one charging circuit to the input of any one of the charging ports in the plurality of charging ports; and a control unit operably connected to the plurality of switches and configured to operate the plurality of switches.

A plunge base for a power tool includes a base plate having a generally flat bottom surface and defining an opening through which a router bit of a router supported by the plunge base extends to engage a workpiece. A carriage support extends vertically upward from the base plate on one side of the opening. A router carriage is slidably retained on the carriage support. The router carriage is slidable toward and away from the base plate between a first position and a second position and is configured to releasably secure a router thereto the router aligned with the opening in the base. A plunge lock mechanism is configured to retain the router carriage at any position between and including the first position and the second position in relation to the carriage support.

A fine adjustment mechanism is moveably connected to the lockpiece. The fine adjustment mechanism is configured to move the electric motor and motor housing relative to the plunge post when the lockpiece is in the locked position.
