The invention is related to construction, namely, discloses a shackle and a locking device comprising said shackle. The technical effect is improving the performance of the device due to a certain design of the shackle. The technical effect is achieved by the fact that the shackle comprises: a first end; a second end, and a plurality of bends between the first end and the second end, thereby forming: a first segment between the first end and a first bend, a second segment between the first bend and a second bend, a third segment between the second bend and a third bend, and a fourth segment between the third bend and the second end, wherein the first segment lies in a first plane and the fourth segment is substantially co-planar with the first segment, and the technical effect is also achieved by design options of the locking device comprising said shackle.

A differential circuit topology that produces a tunable floating negative inductance, negative capacitance, negative resistance/conductance, or a combination of the three. These circuits are commonly referred to as 'non-Foster circuits.' The disclosed embodiments of the circuits comprises two differential pairs of transistors that are cross-coupled, a load immittance, multiple current sources, two Common-Mode FeedBack (CMFB) networks, at least one tunable (variable) resistance, and two terminals across which the desired immittance is present. A method for ordered fault clearance visualization in a computer controlled print production device includes receiving data from the print production device operational sensors indicating a possible fault event. Fault analysis is performed to determine whether faults have occurred and to identify the location and type for each fault, based on the data and fault definitions. Identified faults are prioritized, with each fault assigned a unique priority and the order in which the faults are to be cleared is developed. A visualization of the print production device is presented on the graphical user interface, with graphical cues superimposed upon the visualization of the print production device to indicate the fault order, such that a single view presents all identified faults in the system and the fault order in which they should be cleared. The visualization is updated as each said fault is cleared until a no fault state is achieved.

Method and system for ordered fault clearance

A method and graphical user interface system provide fault notes in a printing system. A fault screen window is provided that depicts faults for individual supply unit devices and output unit devices which can be opened by selecting the fault button and/or fault icon. A fault notes window is also provided for user editable text linked to the fault screen window. The fault notes window displays only user editable text related to a selected device or displays only user editable text related to the system when no device is selected. A fault notes icon is configured to appear when user editable text has previously been entered on said fault notes window.

Fault notes user interface for a printing system

A fault clearance system and method for a graphical user interface. The system includes a plurality of video objects, each video object corresponding to a respective fault of a reprographic or printing system. Each video object further includes a plurality of video segments corresponding to fault clearance steps. Similarly, a plurality of text objects correspond to respective faults of the reprographic or printing system, and each text object further includes a plurality of text steps, one corresponding to each video segment of the respective video object. A bi-directional linkage system links each of the video segments to one of the text steps and each of the text steps is linked to one of the video segments. A video window displays the video segments, and a text window displays one or more of the text steps of a selected text object. The video window displays a video segment linked to a highlighted text step in the text window and the highlighted text step in the text window is linked to the video segment in the video window.

Video/text bi-directional linkage for software fault clearance applications

The present invention relates to a printing system, and more particularly to a resource management using job tickets displayed on a user interface for controlling a printing system to generate documents received from one or more input units including a computer network, scanner, modem, etc. Since the operator or user wishes to offer a wide variety of printing options to customers and complete customer orders as quickly as possible, minimizing the interruption of print jobs is a very important priority. By replenishing supplies such as stock and toner in a timely fashion, the utilization of the printing systems can be maximized. In order for the operator to more efficiently utilize the printing system to perform a large number of print jobs with as few interruptions as possible, the present invention provides a user friendly navigational tool, which can provide the operator with information regarding the amount of printing supplies currently available in the printing system.

Resource management for a printing system via job ticket

A method of determining the configuration of a plurality of resources in an image processing apparatus by running turn around tests to determine the interconnection of the resources and comparing the interconnection to a reference interconnection indicator stored in memory. The difference of interconnections between the reference indicator and the determined interconnections is then displayed to an operator for confirmation. An indication of the new configuration, if confirmed, is then loaded into memory and the machine is set up based upon the new configuration.

Customer product installation/configuration

A color printer control system comprising a user interface for shifting color hue. A control panel display includes an illustrative representation such as a color spectrum bar for suggesting a color range for both the input document and the output document. The user interface has a selective control such as a slide bar including an indicator of a user preference relative to the color reference bar. The position of the slide bar represents the hue shift input by the user. A dynamic image representation, such as a photograph, concurrently adjusts its hue in accordance with adjustment of the color slide bar and the user command. The dynamic image shifts color hue to provide a more accurate indication of the effects of hue shift to the user.

There is provided a fault management system for a printing system having a memory for storing a first set of attribute values and a second set of attribute values. The fault management system includes a user interface with a display screen upon which a selected one of the first set of attribute values and the second set of attribute values is displayable. The printing system further includes a system, responsive to which one of the first set of attribute values and second set of attribute values is to be displayed on said user interface display screen, for controlling display of one or both of a first set of fault related information and a second set of fault related information on the display screen. In practice the first set of fault related information is displayed on the display screen in response to accessing the first set of attribute values in the memory, and the second set of fault related information is displayed on the display screen in response to accessing the second set of attribute values in the memory.

A portable hand tool having the appearances of a flashlight and the capability of projecting a collimated, coherent or otherwise directed, highly focused and narrow light beam is provided a coupling device on the end opposite the light emanation end, swivel capability about its elongate axis and bubble-type level devices. A targeting subsystem, for use with the light emanating tool, completes the alignment system. A portion of the targeting subsystem uses a vertically adjustable stand having a bracket useful both for alignment of piping and/or pipe supports, as well as for securing target placards. The target placards are indexed referencing elements that are capturable by the stand bracket or otherwise suspendable pipe straps and brackets (supports). The system lends itself to highly diverse forms of application, in a host of piping and plumbing system installations, and is readily manipulable by a single person.
