A hydraulic system operably coupled to a vehicle, the vehicle having at least one PTO drive and having a hydraulic system for, in part, cooling hydraulic fluid, includes a closed hydraulic circuit having at least a first and a second hydraulic loop, a pump being a component of each of the at least a first and a second hydraulic loops, the pump being operably, rotatably coupled to the PTO drive, the first hydraulic loop having a feed line fluidly coupled to the vehicle hydraulic system and to the pump and a return line in fluid communication with the pump and operably, fluidly coupled to the vehicle hydraulic system; and the second hydraulic loop having a pressure line fluidly coupled to a output of the pump and a return line fluidly coupled to a pump return inlet, the second hydraulic loop being fluidly couplable to an implement for providing hydraulic power thereto. A method of forming the hydraulic system is included.

PTO driven hydraulic system

A windrower with a frame that: a) has a front, a rear and laterally spaced sides; and b) is movable in an advancing direction. A processing mechanism is capable of: a) unearthing grown product; and b) separating foreign matter from the grown product as the frame is advanced. A cross conveyor assembly controllably discharges grown product from the processing mechanism to the underlying terrain. The cross conveyor assembly has a first discharge end and at least one section, including the first discharge end, that is selectively translatable laterally relative to the frame as the frame is advancing thereby to laterally change a location of the first discharge end and thus the lateral discharge location for the cross conveyor assembly at the first discharge end.

Windrower and method of windrowing a grown product

A log splitter having a bed for accepting a log. The bed has an operating length between first and second components, with the former a wedge. The log splitter can be placed in: (a) a first operative state wherein the bed has a first operating length; and (b) a second operative state wherein the bed has a second operating length. With the log splitter in the first operative state, the wedge is movable: (a) from a first starting position in a first lengthwise direction to effect splitting of a log; and (b) thereafter, oppositely to the first lengthwise direction back into the first starting position. In the second operative state, the wedge is movable: (a) from a second starting position to effect splitting; and (b) thereafter, back into the second starting position. The log splitter further has an operating assembly to move the first component.

The present disclosure relates to a wood chipper that has a feed roller driven by a hydraulic motor. Hydraulic fluid under pressure is provided to the motor through a two-stage pump, providing separate flows of fluid under pressure. The flows of the pump stages are combined for normal operation of the chipper. A bypass that will bypass the flow from one pump stage when the pressure of the fluid under pressure driving the motor exceeds a pre-selected level from increased load on the feed roller is provided. When the bypass is open the feed roller is slowed to reduce the feed rate of material into the chipper, and when the feed roller loads reduce, the flows will again be combined to speed up the feed roller.

A snow blower attachment includes a concentric axis fan and auger, the fan and auger being independently powered by respective motors and being axially operably coupled for support and for independent rotation of the fan and auger.

A drive arrangement for split sickle bar sections of a harvester having a long cutter bar such as a combine, swather, mower-conditioner or the like utilizes separate drives for each sickle bar section, and provides for synchronizing the movement of the sickle bar sections so that they reach the respective ends of the reciprocating path simultaneously. In one form series connected first and second hydraulic motors are used, and the first motor in the series connection is reduced in speed from that which would be obtained from the full flow of a pump, by passing a portion of the pump fluid flow to a flow line leading to the second motor, a bleed valve bleeds off a portion of the flow in the flow line to regulate the second motor speed and position to match the speed and position of the first motor in response to signals indicating the position of the sickle bar sections. The sickle bar sections are thus synchronized.

A compact caster wheel system for use with a skid steer vehicle, includes first and second auxiliary lift unit assemblies being spaced apart and disposable on respective left and right side margins of the skid steer vehicle and disposable rearward of the rearmost driving element and forward of the rear margin of the skid steer vehicle and projecting laterally from the respective left and right side margins less than the rearmost driving element, each of the first and second auxiliary lift unit assemblies having a respective housing assembly being couplable to the respective left and right side margins of the skid steer vehicle, first and second ram assemblies, a respective ram assembly being operably coupled to a respective one of the first and second auxiliary lift unit assemblies, and first and second ground engaging assemblies, a ground engaging assembly being operably coupled to a respective ram assembly such that actuation of the respective ram assembly effects shifting of the ground engaging assembly between an retracted, disengaged disposition and an extended, engaged disposition.

A reel bat assembly has a plurality of reel bat tubes formed into sections so that the assembly of reel bat tubes can be disassembled for shipping and can be reassembled to provide for a long reel bat needed for modern harvesters. The reel bat assembly includes molded tines that have saddle-like hubs which attach to the reel bat tubes using a single screw that extends through the reel bat tubes and threads into a receptacle formed in a post of those tines. The post protrudes into the interior of the reel bat tube and expands as the screw is tightened to provide a secure, stable tine that is held securely with two parts, the tine and the screw.

A valve block mounting arrangement for mounting a valve block directly to the ports of a hydraulic motor. The inventive device includes a main body having a first bore, a second bore and a cartridge bore. The first bore and the second are substantially parallel to one another with the cartridge bore intersecting the parallel bores and designed for removably receiving a control cartridge. A first female coupler and a second female coupler are rotatably positioned within the bores for connecting to a pair of corresponding hydraulic hoses. A first male coupler and a second male coupler are rotatably positioned within the bores opposite of the female couplers for threadably securing to the first port and second port of a rear ported hydraulic motor. The female couplers are preferably connected to the male couplers thereby allowing an individual to apply a tool to the female couplers to rotate the male couplers into the ports of the hydraulic motor. O-rings are positioned about the female couplers and the male couplers for preventing passage of hydraulic fluid about the couplers during operation. A conventional O-ring is positioned about each of the male couplers for reducing the likelihood of leakage during operation. In an alternative embodiment, the female couplers are permanently secured within the bores while the male couplers include an extended portion for allowing a tool to manipulate for rotating the male couplers into the ports of the hydraulic motor. Once installed upon the hydraulic motor, the user may interchange the control cartridge depending upon the type of valve they desire to create. It can be appreciated that one or more of the present inventions can be attached to the female couplers in a stacked configuration.

A hydraulic circuit for a wood chipper attachment for a skid steer loader provides power to both a motor for driving a chipper wheel and a motor for driving a feed roller. A priority flow valve is provided to supply priority of flow to the chipper motor. As pressure increases on the chipper motor, the output from the skid steer loader pump reduces and the priority flow valve acts to reduce flow to the feed motor to reduce the infeed speed. The wood chipper is adapted to be mounted on a skid steer loader and utilize the hydraulic power source from the loader power source. A separate relief valve for the chipper wheel motor is set to relieve pressure if the chipper wheel motor stalls at a lower pressure than the relief valve for the hydraulic system on the skid steer loader so that the feed motor will have sufficient pressure for reversing the feed wheel.

A leveling auger for an extendable height combine grain hopper is mounted onto supports pivoted on brackets so that the auger is effective to level grain in the hopper extension space when in a usable position. The auger will move grain into the regions defined by the hopper extensions. The supports can be pivoted to move the leveling auger to a lowered position. When in its lowered position, the auger is below the level of the hopper after the extension walls are folded down for clearance purposes. A separate grain level sensing switch is used for operating the leveling auger so that the leveling auger is run only when grain has reached a preselected height in the grain hopper.

A weed remover for removing weeds and preventing the growth of new weeds on the bed of a body of water. The weed remover comprises a housing a motor, a drive chain, and a roller having a plurality of fins attached thereto. The motor drives the drive chain which in turn rotates the roller. When the roller is rotated, the fins dig into the bed of the body of water, causing the roller to roll along the bed. The housing is attached to a dock such that it can rotate about a generally vertical axis, permitting the roller to roll in an arc. The direction of rotation of the roller can be reversed such that the roller reciprocates over substantially the same path.

Underwater weed roller

An apparatus for shredding debris from lawns and trees, such as twigs, leaves and like material has a housing in which a rotor is rotatably mounted about an upright axis. The plane of the rotor is thus generally horizontal and supported on a frame which permits movement across the ground. A vertical shaft engine is mounted on the upper side of the housing and supports the rotor within the housing cavity. The rotor has blades which generate an air flow as the rotor is rotating, to provide a vacuum in the center portions of the rotor. The vacuum draws material through a central opening in the bottom of the housing, and the blades impel the material outwardly toward pivotally mounted shredder blades at the outer periphery of the rotor. The rotor also mounts chipper blades in an upper surface thereof with an upwardly extending guide chute receiving limbs and guiding such limbs into the path of the chipper blades as the rotor is rotated, to chip branches, limbs and the like.

A motorized rotary blade snowblower is used for the removal of snow. This snowblower has a housing which covers the rotary blades and a drift cutting arm that is fastened to and extends p from the sides of the housing. The drift cutter is fastened to the housing so that it can be locked in a working position and retracted to a storage position.
