A suspension unit for each rear wheel of a motor powered off-road four wheeled vehicle comprising a suspension arrangement with the inner members constructed for mounting on a fixed shaft secured to the vehicle and the outer casing carrying a swing arm terminating in a swivel joint to be secured to a single rear wheel axle and a pair of such a units in combination with a drive chain and sprocket device for the single axle and a braking system having at least one disc brake for fixed mounting on the rear axle with caliper carried on an operating arm supported from a bearing to be mounted on the same axle.

A front suspension unit for the independent suspension of the front wheels of a motor powered off road four wheel vehicle comprising a pair of suspension units with their outer casings mounted together and the inner members carrying laterally extending arms with their free ends constituted for attachment to front wheel mounting assemblies and such units in combination with a steering assembly having a column to be supported at one end from the vehicle chassis and carrying a steering wheel and axle on the other end, the axle having a chain and sprocket mounted thereon with the ends of the chain attached to a plate rotatably mounted on the column and carrying link arms to be attached one to each of the front wheel mounting assemblies.

Swimming pool cleaner components are provided to form a unitary combination of a body housing a diaphragm in communication with an inner tube and the body in communication with an outer tube around the inner tube and secured to the body to locate the diaphragm and inner tube with a rotatable coupling collar on the outer tube to position the components in an outer body of the swimming pool cleaner.

A disc for use with an automatic swimming pool cleaner which operates on a substantial intermittent reduction in water flow through the swimming pool cleaner is disclosed. The disc is made of flexible material and has grooves formed symmetrically across and into the under surface of the disc.

Pool cleaner disc

This invention concerns a relief valve for use in a swimming pool cleaner hose and has a body with an outlet for connection into the nose. A tubular inlet to the body carries a spider supporting a clamping flange which secures the outer periphery of a resilient annular diaphragm to the end of the body. The diaphragm has its inner periphery in frictional engagement with the inlet. The inlet may be mounted for axial movement against a resilient bias to engage the diaphragm only while a predetermined minimum flow passes through the valve.

Relief valve

Adjustable components for swimming pool cleaners or other devices are disclosed. The components, when forming part of a fluid-interruption cleaner, can accommodate a variety of diaphragms (valves) of different lengths. The exterior of the cleaner's inner tube, to which the diaphragm is attached, includes a series of spaced, concentric ribs, any selected group of which may be gripped by a cantilever ring positioned between the inner tube and the cleaner body. Because the inner tube may be alternatively positioned relative to the cantilever ring and body, it can accept and accommodate diaphragms of varying lengths. The components also facilitate removal of the diaphragm and inner tube from the cleaner for inspection or, for example, when repair or replacement is desired.

Swimming pool cleaner components

A debris trap and in-pool skimmer for use in combination with a swimming pool cleaner having a housing; a housing lid having a conduit with an inlet and an outlet; a filter suspended within the housing; a downspout normal to and intersecting the conduit that penetrates the lid and the filter, is in fluid communication with the inlet and prevents direct flow between the inlet and the outlet; an exit port in the outlet that opens within the housing; and a one-way relief valve in the housing that opens within the filter.

Debris trap

A file clip which has a base with two spaced elongate, flexible, serrated members, and a retainer with two spaced apertures through which the members pass. Punched paper sheets are threaded on to the elongate members. Adjacent each aperture the retainer has a flexible tab which is flanked by two upstanding undercut formations. The tab has locking formations which are engageable with selected serrations on the respective elongate member thereby to secure the retainer to the base.
