A container comprising a main body and a lid includes a chamber for a recipient product. A portion of the container is provided with a sensate substance which is released into the chamber to impart an organoleptic characteristic to a recipient product within the chamber. The recipient product can be a smokeless tobacco product.

The present invention relates to a modular tobacco industry product (). The modular tobacco industry product comprises a first rod () comprising a first smokeable material and a hollow channel (), and a second rod () comprising a second smokeable material. The hollow channel is configured to receive the second rod, the second rod being insertable into the hollow channel by a consumer. The present invention also relates to a kit for assembling a modular tobacco industry product, a rod of smokeable material configured to be inserted into a hollow channel of a first rod, and a package.

A container is disclosed which has a first chamber and a second chamber separated by a wall. The separating wall is configured so that at least one substance emitted by a donor product received in the second chamber is conveyed from the second chamber into the first chamber through said separating wall. In this way, a characteristic of the donor product is imparted to a recipient product in said first chamber.
