The present invention relates to a mixing system comprising a vessel () for housing a disposable fluid mixing bag (), which vessel () comprises a base () supporting the fluid mixing bag () and a sidewall () extending vertically upwards from the base (). The sidewall () of the vessel comprises a door opening () which is closable by a sliding door (). The system with the sliding door provides an easy access to the inside of the vessel () in a space saving manner.

Mixing system

A generally cylindrical collapsible mixing vessel, comprising: a) a flexible plastic film side wall, a top wall and a bottom wall, wherein both the top wall and the bottom wall are attached to the side wall and the side, top and bottom walls define an inner volume of the vessel; b) an agitator located in the inner volume and; c) at least one vortex breaker made from flexible plastic film, located in the inner volume and attached to the bottom wall and/or the side wall via string elements, wherein said vortex breaker extends along the side wall and inwards in a generally radial direction.

A container comprising a first material and a second material, the first material being a flexible material and the second material being a rigid or semi-rigid material and at least partially defining an interior compartment for keeping a fluid inside the container characterized in that the flexible material and/or the semi-rigid or rigid material have thermoplastic properties and wherein the flexible material and the semi-rigid or rigid material are joined together by a seal or joint which comprises a heat seal and an adhesive seal.
