Devices, systems, and methods are provided for performing volume and intensity-based activity evaluations. A method may include determining, by a device, a heart rate. The method may include determining, based on the heart rate, a motion threshold amount for a time period. The method may include determining motion data. The method may include comparing the motion data to the motion threshold for the time period. The method may include determining, based on the comparison of the motion data to the motion threshold for the time period, an activity intensity level associated with the heart rate and the motion data. The method may include determining, based on the activity intensity level, an activity score. The method may include sending data indicating the activity score for presentation at a second device.

Volume and intensity-based activity evaluations for devices

A microphone acquires audio data of a user's speech. The audio data is processed to determine sentiment data indicative of perceived emotional content of the speech. For example, the sentiment data may include values for one or more of valence that is based on a particular change in pitch over time or activation that is based on speech pace. A simplified user interface provides the user with a graphical representation based on the sentiment data and associated descriptors. For example, a visual indicator such as a dot may be shown at particular coordinates onscreen that correspond to the sentiment data. Text descriptors may also be presented near the dot. As the user continues speaking, and new audio data is processed, the interface is dynamically updated. The user may use this information to assess their state of mind, facilitate interactions with others, and so forth.

Systems and methods for enabling communications and feedback with users of virtual reality user interfaces are described. The virtual reality user interface may include a background model, a plurality of cells and subcells, and an interaction area. The interaction area may be positioned at a virtual location of the user, and the interaction area may include a border around its periphery. Responsive to various user inputs or actions, or device or system states or conditions, visual characteristics of the interaction area and border may be selected and rendered to provide communications and feedback to a user. In addition, the interaction area and border may receive voice inputs provided by users. Accordingly, the interaction area and border may provide communications and feedback with users of virtual reality user interfaces.

Disclosed are various embodiments for editable search. A computing device generates a network page that includes a title that is interactive or modifiable. In response to a user-selected attribute being selected from the title, an item catalog is searched to identify available items with different attribute values for the user-selected attribute. A menu with one or more different attribute value is rendered in relation to the user-selected attribute from the title. A different attribute value is selected from the menu and the network page is updated to include the different attribute value in place of the user-selected attribute in the title.

Systems and methods for generating virtual reality user interfaces are described. The virtual reality user interface may include a three-dimensional model that simulates an actual environment. In addition, the virtual reality user interface may include a plurality of cells arranged at a simulated depth and with a simulated curvature. Further, the plurality of cells may be divided into a plurality of subcells. The subcells may be sized based at least in part on aspect ratios of images to be included in each of the subcells. Moreover, supplemental cells may be provided around or within the plurality of cells and subcells, each of the supplemental cells representing a collection of items. The variable sizing of the subcells as well as the incorporation of supplemental cells around or within the plurality of cells and subcells may result in a virtual reality user interface with higher user interest and engagement.

Systems and methods related to detecting characteristics of images and accentuating or manipulating characteristics of images are described. For example, a principal color of an image may be identified, a complement color may be determined based on the principal color, and the complement color may be applied to the image to accentuate the image. In this manner, an object of interest represented in the image may be emphasized and displayed in a more visually attractive manner. In addition, edges of an image may be evaluated to determine if one or more visibly cropped edges are present within the image, the image may be further cropped to remove the visibly cropped edges, and/or the image may be shifted or magnified based on such cropped edges. In this manner, an object of interest represented in the image may be magnified and emphasized, and visually distracting elements may be removed from the image.

Systems and methods to rapidly create, view, and modify three-dimensional experiences may include a two-dimensional content editing device and application and a three-dimensional experience viewing device and application. Using the two-dimensional content editing application, two-dimensional objects may be created, and properties of the two-dimensional objects may be defined. Using the three-dimensional experience viewing application, the two-dimensional objects may be rendered within a three-dimensional environment based on the defined properties. In this manner, three-dimensional experiences may be quickly created, viewed, modified, reviewed, and published without the need for specialized tools, training, or experience in three-dimensional modeling or programming.

Disclosed are various embodiments for editable search. A computing device displays a term on a network page. The computing device then displays a search result on the network page, wherein the search result is related to the term. Later, the computing device displays an alternative term in response to a selection of the term. The computing device then sends a search query to a remote application executing on a remote computing device in response to a selection of the alternative term, wherein the search query includes the alternative term. The computing device subsequently updates the search result on the network page with a new search result related to the alternative term.

Techniques for generating and presenting user interfaces that provide a consolidated representation for same or similar products available for acquisition with variations of product attributes is described. A primary user interface (UI) for presenting a product having a product attribute may be presented via a device. The primary UI may present a representation of the product with an indication that alternate product(s) are available with alternate product attributes. Based on receiving a request to access information about the alternate product(s), a secondary UI may be generated for presenting the information about the alternate product(s). The secondary UI, which may overlay a portion of the primary UI, may be presented via the device. Based on receiving an indication of a selection of an alternate product, the presentation of the secondary UI may be terminated and the primary UI may be updated to reflect the selection of the alternate product.
