A method for analyzing content on a web page. In one method embodiment, the present invention accesses a web page having content. Additionally, the web page is processed through a filter wherein the filter transfers the content of the web page to an analyzer. The analyzer analyzes the content of the web page. The analyzer then returns the result of the analyzing to the server which appends the result of the analyzing to the content of the web page. The results are then displayed on the web page. In so doing, the ability to provide an analysis of the functionality of a web page at the time of development is provided.

System and method for analyzing content on a web page using an embedded filter

A method and system for automated accessibility checking of Web pages. The method includes the step of accessing a Web page using a parser to generate data corresponding to the components of the Web page. The data is analyzed using an analysis engine to determine compliance of the components of the Web page with a set of accessibility standards. The results of the analysis performed by the analysis engine are subsequently stored. The results are then provided to indicate a degree of compliance with the set of accessibility standards. The method for automated accessibility checking can be implemented as a hosted application residing on a network connected server.

Method and system for automated web page accessibility coding standards analysis

The present invention provides an assistive technology screen reader in a distributed network computer system. The screen reader, on a server computer system, receives display information output from one or more applications. The screen reader converts the text and symbolic content of the display information into a performant format for transmission across a network. The screen reader, on a client computer system, receives the performant format. The received performant format is converted to a device type file, by the screen reader. The screen reader then presents the device type file to a device driver, for output to a speaker, braille reader, or the like.

The present invention provides a computer implemented lab reservation system including a reservation engine and a reservation database. The reservation database contains data concerning the computer systems and target operating environments in the lab. The reservation engine manipulates the reservation database in order to efficiently match user requests to specific lab computer systems and target operating environments. The reservation engine also manipulates the reservation database in order to efficiently reinstall computer system default settings, when users return configured systems, so that the computer systems can be reallocated to new requests.

A method, system, computer program product, and database connectivity layer provides the capability to capture data over time so that trend analysis may be performed that does not require modifications to the data model and the data processing applications. A method of automatically capturing data for trend analysis comprises the steps of: receiving a query for data from a database application, issuing the received query to a database management system, receiving a response to the query from the database management system, the response indicating a result dataset, creating or updating a database table that is suitable for trend analysis, and populating or updating the database table with data from the result dataset.

A method for repeatable application testing on a computer system for audible output generated by the application in conjunction with a screen reader or similar assistive technology. The method includes recording user inputs to a user application using a test input component. The user inputs are also accessed by a screen reader input component. Outputs of the user application are recorded using a test output component. The outputs of the user application are also accessed by a screen reader output component. The resulting screen reader outputs are recorded and are analyzed with respect to the recorded user inputs and the recorded outputs of the user application. The user inputs to the user application can be keyboard inputs or mouse inputs, and inputs of other input devices. The outputs of the user application can be graphical outputs or alphanumeric outputs for a display of the computer system. The resulting screen reader outputs can be sound output signals (or representations thereof) for a sound system of the computer system.

Method and system for screen reader regression testing

One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for constructing a query for an object-relational database. This method displays at least part of a schema for the object-relational database to a user in a graphical representation. Next, the method allows the user to perform graphical manipulations on the schema. The method then generates a query based upon the schema and the graphical manipulations, and this query is sent to the object-relational database. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a method for processing an object-relational query for transmission from a client to an object-relational database server. This method receives the query at the client, and parses the query to determine which object-relational structures the query is attempting to access. The method then determines from data dictionary information, loaded from the object-relational database server and cached locally on the client, if the object-relational structures the query is attempting to access exist in the object-relational database server. If they do not exist, the method indicates an error condition. Yet another embodiment of the present invention provides a method for displaying objects defined within an object-oriented programming system that are stored in a relational table structure. This method displays a table of objects, so that a first object in the table is represented by an identifier. The method next receives a command from a user to provide a more-detailed display of the first object. In response to this command, the method retrieves attributes of the first object from a data store, and displays an expanded representation of the first object by displaying the attributes.
