Systems and methods for synthesizing chemical products, including active pharmaceutical ingredients, are provided. Certain of the systems and methods described herein are capable of manufacturing multiple chemical products without the need to fluidically connect or disconnect unit operations when switching from one making chemical product to making another chemical product.

A system for assembling a cabinet which includes a first base member having a first length and a base member channel extending the first length of the base member. The system includes a second base member having a second length, a second base member channel extending the second length of the second base member, a pair of opposing secondary members each having a third length and a secondary member channel extending the third length of the secondary members and a first cap member disposable in the base member channel. The system includes a first and second locking member disposable in each of the secondary member channels, the locking member extending from the first base member to the second base member when the cabinet is fully assembled. The locking members are engagable with the first and second base member channel for securing the secondary members to first and second base members.

Strengthening resins and methods for making and using same. The strengthening resin can include a polyamine partially cross-linked with a bridging moiety and having azetidinium ions. The bridging moiety can be derived from a functionally symmetric cross-linker. The functionally symmetric cross-linker can include a diisocyanate, a 1,3-dialkyldiazetidine-2,4-dione, a dianhydride, a diacyl halide, a dienone, a dialkyl halide, or any mixture thereof.

High efficiency wet strength resins from new cross-linkers

Methods for removing particulates from an aqueous suspension are provided. In at least one specific embodiment, the method can include mixing a polyamidoamine-epihalohydrin resin with an aqueous suspension comprising one or more first particulates to produce a treated mixture. An amount of the polyamidoamine-epihalohydrin resin in the treated mixture can be less than 500 g/tonne of the one or more first particulates. The method can also include recovering from the treated mixture a purified water having a reduced concentration of the one or more first particulates relative to the aqueous suspension, a purified first particulate product having a reduced concentration of water relative to the aqueous suspension, or both.
