A vehicle diagnostic system includes a first diagnostic server including a diagnostic database having historical data matched with possible vehicle fixes, and configured to receive retrieved vehicle data and identify a most likely vehicle fix associated therewith. The first diagnostic server is associated with a first processing capability. The system additionally includes a second diagnostic server including a diagnostic algorithm operatively associated therewith and configured to identify a possible vehicle fix based on an assessment of the retrieved diagnostic data according to predefined criteria associated with the diagnostic algorithm. The second diagnostic server is associated with a second processing capability. A diagnostic router is disposable in communication with the first and second diagnostic servers and is configured to determine which one of the first and second diagnostic servers to send retrieved diagnostic data based on an assessment of the retrieved data and the first and second processing capabilities.

A diagnostic condition indexed kit for implementing a do-it-yourself automotive repair includes at least one replacement part compatible with a specified vehicle, at least one tool for installing the replacement part(s) in the specified vehicle, and packaging containing the replacement part(s) and the tool(s). The packaging may include an indicator, accessible from outside the packaging, referencing the specified vehicle and a diagnostic condition associated with the specified vehicle that is repairable by installation of the replacement part(s). A system for providing mobile application-based vehicle diagnostics includes a mobile communication device ('device') having an installed mobile application ('app'). The app receives an instruction to obtain vehicle condition information of a vehicle, determines a geolocation of the device, and displays a geolocation of a diagnostic service provider on the device. A diagnostic tool operable by the diagnostic service provider retrieves diagnostic data from the vehicle. A server operable by a different entity than the diagnostic service provider establishes a user profile associated with a user of the device and including a vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle, receives the diagnostic data from the diagnostic tool, detects the VIN in the diagnostic data, derives vehicle condition information from the diagnostic data, associates the vehicle condition information with the user profile by matching the VIN, and provides the vehicle condition information to the app to be displayed on the device.

System and method for selective vehicle data retrieval

An aftermarket vehicle communication device engageable to a vehicle for providing location information associated with the vehicle to a V2X data stream. The device includes a housing configured to be detachably engageable to the vehicle. A GPS circuit is coupled to the housing and is disposable in communication with a GPS system to receive a GPS signal therefrom, with the received GPS signal being representative of a location of the vehicle when the housing is engaged to the vehicle. An antenna circuit is also coupled to the housing and is in communication with the GPS circuit. The antenna circuit is configured to receive the GPS signal from the GPS circuit and communicate the GPS signal to the V2X data stream.

A vehicle diagnostic includes a kiosk a display configured to depict a visual code thereon, with the visual code being readable by a handheld communication device and associated a unique electronic identifier. The kiosk additionally includes a diagnostic tool connectable to a vehicle to retrieve vehicle data therefrom. A remote server is in communication with the kiosk and is disposable in communication with the handheld communication device. The server is capable of: receiving a signal from the handheld communication device including the unique electronic identifier; receiving a signal from the kiosk including the vehicle data; analyzing the vehicle data to determine a diagnostic solution; and storing the diagnostic solution such that the diagnostic solution is retrievable in response to receipt of a subsequent signal including the unique electronic identifier.

Kiosk based vehicle diagnostic system

A vehicle communication device that is engageable to a vehicle, e.g., by a vehicle license plate fastener and/or within an OBD communication device, for interfacing a vehicle electrical system to a V2X data stream. A micro computing unit (MCU) is disposed within the device, defining a processor and a memory. The MCU is configured to derive information from the V2X data stream. Provided according to embodiments of the invention are systems for monitoring a physiological state of an individual that include a PPG sensor, which optionally includes an auxiliary physiological sensor integrated with or connected thereto; a first signal processing device in electronic communication with the PPG sensor, whereby the PPG sensor transmits PPG signals to the first signal processing device; and a second signal processing device that detects at least a portion of the signals transmitted by the PPG sensor to the first signal processing device, at least a portion of signals transmitted by the auxiliary physiological sensor, or both. Provided according to embodiments of the invention are photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors, systems and accessories, and methods of making and using the same. In some embodiments of the invention, the PPG sensors include a clip body that includes a first end portion and a second end portion; a flex circuit attached or adjacent to the clip body, and an elastomeric sleeve that envelops (1) at least part of the first end portion and at least part of the flex circuit attached or adjacent thereto; or (2) at least part of the second end portion and at least part of the flex circuit attached or adjacent thereto.

A high efficiency ventilation system may include a partition configured to separate a supply air stream and a return air stream, an energy recovery ventilator, a heat recovery ventilator, a refrigerant flow controlling condensing unit, and a direct expansion coil. The refrigerant flow controlling condensing unit may be configured to send a refrigerant to the direct expansion coil and configured to receive a refrigerant from the direct expansion coil. The direct expansion coil may be disposed between the energy recovery ventilator and the heat recovery ventilator. The sidestream gas measurement assembly includes a receptacle for removably receiving at least a portion of the sample cell. An apparatus and method for affording a re-breathing capability to a breathing circuit. The apparatus includes a valve that permits air flow through or re-breathing in the breathing circuit. A COsensor and an air flow sensor detects COa rate of air flow in the breathing circuit, respectively. A processor computes a parameter based on the COwaveform feature and a volumetric COwaveform feature based on signals from the air flow sensor and/or the COsensor. An alarm is triggered when the parameter deviates from a selected magnitude. In a further embodiment, at least one parameter associated with an energy source for actuating the valve is monitored. Deviation of the value from at least one selected value of the at least one parameter is corrected.
