An airbag assembly includes a base and an airbag extendable from the base to a flat position prior to inflation. A tether is elongated along an axis from a first end of the tether attached to the base to another end of the tether attached to the airbag in the flat position. A reinforcement is elongated along the axis in the flat position state and attached to the tether. The reinforcement has a greater torsional rigidity about the axis than the tether.

A disclosed hitch receiver assembly includes receiver having a worm gear and a slide bushing, a worm shaft engaged to the worm gear for laterally moving the receiver, a slide bar extending through the slide bushing and fixed at each end to a static structure, a hitch received within the receiver and a receiver pin coupling the hitch to the receiver and the static structure.

A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a camera module that is moveable back and forth between a first and a second position. In the first position, the camera module is mounted to, and at least partially housed within, a portion of a vehicle. In the second position, the camera module is mounted to a structure other than the vehicle. A viewing method includes using a camera module to view a first area when the camera module is at least partially housed within a portion of a vehicle in a first position. The method further includes using the camera module to view a different, second area after moving the camera module to a second position where the camera module is mounted to a structure other than the vehicle.

An airbag assembly includes a housing and an airbag supported by the housing. A sheet includes a first end fixed relative to the housing and a second end. A reinforcement is elongated on the sheet. The sheet is deployable below the airbag with the second end free from the airbag.

A headliner assembly apparatus includes an input delivery device attempting to deliver an input related to a predetermined headliner to a controller that is in communication with the input delivery device. An indexing assembly is in communication with the controller, wherein the indexing assembly positions at least one headliner detail in an installation position in response to the input related to the predetermined headliner. A headliner support is adapted to position the predetermined headliner, wherein the predetermined headliner is placed on the indexing assembly, and wherein the headliner is placed to engage the at least one headliner detail in the installation position. A detail installing assembly couples the at least one headliner detail in the installation position to the predetermined headliner.

Method for installing details onto a headliner for a vehicle

An air curtain delivery assembly includes an arcuate extruded unitary channel and an inflatable air curtain. The channel includes a longitudinal length defining an arc substantially matching a fore-aft curvature of a vehicle roof panel and having an open mouth defining a ramp for directing deployment of the inflatable air curtain from an interior of the channel and inboard of a vehicle side structure. The channel may further be configured and dimensioned for attaching to a portion of the vehicle roof panel and beneath a trim piece overlying the vehicle side structure. The channel may further include a vehicle-forward portion substantially matching a downward angle of a vehicle A pillar.

An adjustable cup holder assembly is provided. That adjustable cup holder assembly includes a support having a guide track and a drag bar. The adjustable cup holder also includes a cup holder having (a) a body including a well, (b) an actuator and (c) a drag. The cup holder may be displaced along the guide track and secured in various positions on the support by engaging the drag bar. A motor vehicle door including a cup holder with an adjustment mechanism for displacing the cup holder along the body of the door between multiple positions is also disclosed.

Flexible headliner assembly table

A headliner includes a ceiling and an edge flange extending away from the ceiling. The edge flange has a backing section at a free end and a wall section connected to the ceiling. An edge fold is formed on the headliner by a method that includes heating the flange and folding the backing section over and parallel to the ceiling. The method also includes forming a reverse turned edge by folding the backing section over the wall section and compressing the backing section against the wall section.

A multi-purpose assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The assembly comprises a rotational assembly comprising a first surface rotationally interchangeable with a second surface. The assembly further comprises a housing configured to pivotally engage the rotational assembly. The first surface comprises a hanger and the second surface comprises a task light.

A sun visor assembly is provided. The sun visor assembly includes a support, a visor body carried on the support and a mirror carried on the visor body. The visor body pivots about a first axis in a first plane and the mirror pivots about a second axis in a second plane where the first axis is substantially perpendicular to the second axis. Thus the mirror is effectively provided with two degrees of freedom allowing it to be more conveniently, efficiently and effectively adjusted.

A magnet fastener includes a cup, a magnet received in the cup and a carrier. The carrier receives and holds the cup while the resilient support includes at least one projection that engages the cup and provides a biasing force to prevent rattling or ticking of the cup on the carrier.
