In one aspect of the invention, a printer is provided for use with a display device having images stored in a memory therein, a display device controller, and an image display for displaying the stored images. The printer has an external structure housing a print engine and receiver medium transport adapted to cooperate to cause donor materials to be transferred to a receiver medium in an imagewise fashion; a display device interface being adapted to receive the display device and to position the display device so that a display device electrical connector can form an electrical connection with the electrical interface; and a printer processor adapted to transmit signals to the display device controller influencing what is presented on the image display; wherein the display device interface is adjustably mounted to the external structure.

A media supply is provided for use in an imaging device having an entry port. The media supply has a housing defining a media storage area to hold media, an opening to receive media, and a device engagement surface shaped for insertion into the entry port A media enclosure is mounted to the housing and is movable between an open position wherein the media storage area can be accessed through the opening and a closed position blocking the opening. Wherein the media storage area, media enclosure, and engagement surface are arranged so that the media enclosure can be moved between the closed position and the open position when the engagement surface is inserted into the entry port.

A digital projector for providing digital images for display to a user, the digital projector comprises a housing having its vertical dimension substantially greater than its horizontal dimension; a light source enclosed within the housing for providing light; a digital imager through which the light of the light source is projected for providing digital images for display to the user; a single mirror for reflecting the digital image from the digital imager; and a lens for receiving the digital image from the digital imager for display external to the digital projector; and a plurality of wheels attached to the base for providing efficient movement of the digital projector.

An ink cartridge for an ink jet printer includes alignment features in the form of recesses formed on front and back side walls of the cartridge surface near the bottom thereof. An ink cartridge receiver assembly includes a plurality of receptacles for receiving a corresponding plurality of ink cartridges containing ink of different.colors. The receptacles are defined by identical spacer walls and the spacer walls include locating structures which cooperate with the alignment features on the cartridge to properly align the cartridge as it is inserted into the receptacle. The cartridges have identically curved surfaces that interface with complementary curved spacer walls.
