A drain assembly for providing a drain passage for fluid flow from a surface to the drainpipe of a plumbing system. The surface would typically be that of a structure such as that of a floor, a floor of a shower or floor of a bathtub. The drain assembly includes a multi-channel cover wherein each flow channel is configured or curved in such a way to prevent the passage of a ligation (e.g., wire, cord, or rope) through the channels to allow the ligation to be tied to the cover. The multi-channel cover is formed from a plate coupled to one or more annular diverter walls that form a portion of the curved flow channel shape.

Embodiments of an expansion joint are provided. The expansion joint is configured to cover a gap between a first architectural surface and a second architectural surface. The expansion joint includes a panel, subframe, first mounting joint, and a second mounting joint. The second mounting joint includes a coupling member, mounting frame, and clamping arm, each, respectively, being continuous and integrally formed components. The second mounting joint releasably attaches the expansion joint to the second architectural surface. In this way, the expansion joint can be easily removed from the second architectural surface. The expansion joint may also include a slide assembly capable of moving laterally within the subframe and/or an extension arm configured to extend the subframe of the expansion joint to keep the panel from dislodging from the architectural surfaces in response to seismic activity and/or other large expansions or contractions between architectural gaps.

Embodiments of an elevator mounting assembly are provided. The elevator mounting assembly includes an elevator wall panel that is coupled to an elevator car wall by a hanger, specifically a side mount hanger. The hanger includes a lower wall that is spaced laterally apart from the elevator wall panel. At least a portion of the lower wall is in lateral alignment with the elevator wall panel. An intermediate wall extends from the lower wall in a direction toward the elevator car wall. Further, an upper wall extends from the intermediate wall, such that the upper wall is positioned nearer than the lower wall to the elevator car wall. The upper wall is coupled to the elevator car wall at a location above the elevator wall panel. Additionally, an elevator ceiling panel is coupled to the lower wall. In specific embodiments, the upper wall includes a plurality of wall mounting channels.

Embodiments of an expansion joint are provided. The expansion joint is configured to cover a gap between a first architectural surface and a second architectural surface. The expansion joint includes a panel having a first surface and a second surface in which the second surface is opposite the first surface. When the panel covers the gap, the panel is magnetically connected to both of the first architectural surface or the second architectural surface. In specific embodiments, at least one of the magnetic structures that magnetically connect the panel to both of the first architectural surface or the second architectural surface is allowed to move in response to movement of the panel. In more specific embodiments, the movement of the magnetic structure is a tilting movement.

A wall panel installation method, assembly, system and kit are provided. The wall panel is installed and held to an existing building structure with the combination of a support plate secured to the building wall, fastening elements adhered to the wall panel and corresponding fastening elements adhered to respective support plates. When the wall panel is in position, the fastening elements are brought into contact to engage each other and hold the wall panel in position relative to the building structure/wall.

Embodiments of an expansion joint are provided. The expansion joint is configured to cover a gap between a first architectural surface and a second architectural surface. The expansion joint includes a panel having a first surface and a second surface in which the second surface is opposite the first surface. When the panel covers the gap, the panel is magnetically connected to both of the first architectural surface or the second architectural surface. The expansion joint may also a tether to connect the panel to the architectural surfaces when the panel becomes dislodged.

An expansion joint cover plate assembly for covering a gap between first and second sections of a building formation such as wall, floor or ceiling of a building. The assembly includes a cover plate, a support structure for supporting the plate relative to the building formation and a spring biasing structure for holding the plate against the support structure.

An elevator cab protection system is provided. The system includes first and second panels and three clips. Each of the clips includes a lower leg portion and an upper leg portion. The first clip is coupled to the first panel by a fastener. The lower leg portion of the first clip and the first panel define a first downwardly opening slot. The second clip is coupled to the first panel by a fastener with the upper leg portion of the second clip located above the upper end of the first panel. The third clip is coupled to the second panel by a fastener. The lower leg portion of the third clip is configured to be inserted into the upwardly opening slot defined by the upper leg portion of the second clip and the wall of the elevator cab to support the second panel relative to the first panel.

Joint seal

An elastic seal for a building joint which includes internal walls or dividers which change orientation when the seal is compressed for placement into the building joint. The change in orientation allow for the seal to apply a relatively uniform force against the joint walls extending from the bottom wall to the top wall of the seal. Additionally, the change in orientation reduces the deflection of the top wall of the seal upwardly when compressed in the building joint. The walls also become more vertically oriented when the seal in compressed. This vertical orientation provides increased load support for the top wall when the seal is compressed into a joint.
