A ornamental writing utensil assembly includes a housing has a writing well therein to receive an elongated writing utensil. Additionally, the housing has a rod well therein. A mating member is coupled to the housing and the mating member releasably engages a support surface for storing the housing. A rod is insertable into the rod well and a pair of wings that each movably engages the rod to enhance the ornamental appearance of the writing utensil. A plurality of couplers is each coupled to a respective one of the wings. Each of the couplers movably engages the rod for retaining each of the wings on the rod.

Writing utensil assembly

An enterprise strategy management system includes a first software module adapted to formulate a strategy description based on an assessment of environmental data, a second software module adapted to align the strategy description with available enterprise resources and deploy strategy implementation responsibilities, and a third software module adapted to measure the execution of the strategy and identify opportunities to optimize strategic performance. The STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION module includes software components for activating the launch of activities, implementing and measuring the execution of strategy and performance results, and identifying the opportunities to optimize strategic performance.

A method and apparatus for sampling an analog signal permits the identification of those samples in which data was lost in the sampling process. A data reference element is generated for each sample element, the data reference element having a corresponding sample element. A user friendly display technique is provided to permit the user to controllably display the sampled signal, clearly showing those portions of the signal in which information was lost contrasted with those portions of the signal that were sampled intact.

Method and apparatus for the display of digitized analog signal loss

A method and system for the efficient distribution of electronic mail items within a distributed data processing system having multiple users enrolled therein wherein each user utilizes a computer or terminal device having a unique address. After selecting an individual electronic mail item for distribution an intuitive graphic representation of a group of unique addresses is displayed within a user's terminal device. The intuitive graphic representation may take one of several forms including a two or three dimensional graphic representation of an office floor plan which identifies the occupants of each office, or a photographic image of one or more users. In response to a graphic selection by the user of a particular graphic representation, or portion thereof, an identified electronic mail item is then automatically distributed to the user whose unique address is associated with that graphic representation or portion thereof. In one embodiment an electronic mail item is displayed as a miniature graphic representation or 'icon' and is thereafter automatically distributed in response to a relocation of that icon to a position overlying the graphic representation or portion thereof, utilizing well known 'drag and drop' techniques.

On a network, access to individual data processing systems is remotely controlled from a host data processing system. A security request is provided at the host data processing system. The security request specifies the target data processing systems, whether those systems are to be locked or unlocked, the peripherals of the specified data processing systems that are affected and a password. The security request is communicated to all data processing systems in communication with the host data processing system. Each data processing system processes the security request to determine if it is a target. If so, then a lock status of a target set of data processing systems is changed in response to the security request. The change in lock status of the target set of data processing systems either facilitates or prohibits use of the target set of data processing systems.
