A system and method for performing a procedure is disclosed. The procedure may include preparing one or more bones for a prosthetic implant. The method may include provide instructions to a user for using identified instruments to perform a procedure. Instructions and may be provided for settings of adjustable instruments.

Plan implementation

An integrated instrument for arthroplasty planning comprises a cutting block having an adjustable distance between an anterior cut guide and a posterior cut guide, and a sizer mounted to the cutting block, the sizer comprising medial and lateral posterior feet having an adjustable distance from one of the cut guides and an adjustable angular position relative to the one of the cut guides.

Adjustable cut block and sizer instrument for arthroplasty planning

An implant for a hip can include a lateral augment adapted to be coupled to a lateral side of a femoral body implant. The lateral augment can include a body portion having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a protrusion extending from the second surface. The protrusion can have a shape adapted to mate with a complementary shaped recess formed in the lateral side of the femoral body implant. An aperture can be positioned in the body portion and extend through the protrusion. A fastener can be received through the aperture and adapted to be threadably secured to the lateral bore. The fastener can be configured to have a length sufficient to pass through a portion of a greater trochanter for securing the portion of the greater trochanter and the lateral augment to the femoral body implant.

Modular lateral hip augments

A knee prosthesis system constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure can include a femoral component, a tibial component, a first femoral component insert, a second femoral component insert, a first tibial bearing, and a second tibial bearing. The knee prosthesis system may be configured in one of a non-hinged configuration and a second hinged configuration. In the first non-hinged configuration, the first femoral component insert is positioned relative to the femoral component and the first tibial bearing is positioned onto the tibial component. In the second hinged configuration, the second femoral component insert is positioned relative to the femoral component and the second tibial bearing is positioned onto the tibial component.

Knee prosthesis systems and methods

Disclosed is a modular trial system to select a neck length. The system may be in a hexagonal or click embodiments. A neck member may having at least a locating step with a locating step face. A head member may have at least a first groove and a second groove in an internal bore. The head member may be rotated relative to the neck member to select various trial lengths of the neck.

A prosthetic device for replacement of a first pelvic portion of a pelvis of a patient opposite to a second pelvic portion relative to a median plane includes an acetabular component a flange component and a pubis component. The acetabular component has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion at an angle relative to the first connecting portion, the angle selected for a corresponding anatomy of the patient. The flange component is coupled to the first connecting portion and configured to attach to a healthy pelvic portion on a same side of the median plane from the first pelvic portion. The pubis component is connected to the second connecting portion of the acetabular component and having a clamping portion configured to attach to a healthy pubis bone on an opposite side of the median plane from the first pelvic portion.

Prosthetic hip device and associated method

A prosthesis system for replacing a knee joint between a femur and a tibia can include a first femoral component including a first condylar portion, a second condylar portion, a first sidewall extending superiorly from the first condylar portion and a second sidewall offset from the first sidewall a first distance and extending superiorly from the second condylar portion. A tibial component can have a bone engaging inferior surface and a bearing engaging superior surface. A bearing can have an inferior surface that engages the bearing engaging surface and a superior femoral engaging surface. The bearing can define an opening and a bearing keyway. A first yoke and a second yoke can each have an inferior portion, a superior portion, and a yoke keyway extending therethrough.

Knee joint prosthesis system and method for implantation

An implant for a hip can include a lateral augment adapted to be coupled to a lateral side of a femoral body implant. A prosthesis system for replacing a knee joint between a femur and a tibia can include a femoral component, a tibial component, a bearing, a first yoke, and a first key. The femoral component can include a first condylar portion, a second condylar portion, a first sidewall extending superiorly from the first condylar portion, a second sidewall extending superiorly from the second condylar portion where the first and second sidewalls collectively comprise a first hinge portion. The tibial component can have a bone engaging inferior surface and a bearing engaging superior surface. The bearing can have an inferior that engages the bearing engaging surface and a superior femoral engaging surface. The bearing can define an opening. The first yoke can have an inferior portion, a superior portion and a yoke keyway extending through the therethrough.

A prosthesis includes an implant defining an attachment surface thereon. A porous insert is selectively coupled to the implant. The porous insert is adapted to be received at the attachment surface of the implant in a retained position. The porous insert is adapted to facilitate tissue ingrowth. In one embodiment the implant comprises a femoral component. The femoral component comprises an inner condylar portion having a first and second lateral sidewalls, an anterior wall and a posterior wall defining a box. The box defines the attachment surface. In other embodiments, the implant comprises a hip stem and an acetabular shell.
