Locking cam for vehicle alignment

A locking cam for securing suspension components in a vehicle. The locking cam has at least one surface that is textured to create a surface for engagement against and with a frame member upon tightening of the suspension components. The textured surface can have ridges or projects for engagement with the frame member.

Alignment locking cam

The auxiliary suspension device is relatively neutral at rest and responds in coordination with the existing suspension system upon application of a load. The redundant suspension device has an inflatable bellow that is mounted between a vehicle's frame and an existing vehicle suspension element.

Bellows suspension unit

The disclosed bushing assembly has a housing with a central bore for receiving a bushing sleeve that is dimensioned to fit a predetermined sway bar. The housing and sleeve have various combinations of mating projections and recesses that secure the sleeve in the housing. A bushing kit has a plurality of sleeves that are dimensioned to fit different predetermined sway bars and an appropriate sleeve can be selected at the time of installation. The housing and the sleeve are flexible.

A camshaft phaser that includes a rotor and a sprocket. A plurality of lobes of the sprocket are spaced to receive a plurality of vanes of the rotor, thereby defining retard and advance pressure chambers when the rotor rotates with respect to the sprocket between retard and advance positions. When the rotor rotates between the retard and advance positions, gap surfaces of the lobes cooperate with gap surfaces of the vanes to form fluid gaps therebetween, wings of the lobes fit into receiving surfaces of the vanes, and stop surfaces of the vanes abut the sides of the lobes.
