A modular power system includes a fuel cell module and a battery module. The fuel cell module has a plurality of fuel cell stacks. Each fuel cell stack includes a plurality of fuel cells. The plurality of fuel cells is arranged in a vertical orientation in one or more planes located above and perpendicular to a chassis of the vehicle. The battery module has a plurality of batteries arranged in one or more battery stacks. The battery module is electrically connected to the fuel cell module. The plurality of batteries is located in one or more planes directly above and parallel to the chassis.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for optimizing refueling hydrogen in vehicles. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to identifying a refueling station, conducting a safety check on the vehicle based on a distance between the vehicle and the refueling station, switching a power source of the vehicle to only be a battery, swapping an empty or partially filled hydrogen fuel tank on the vehicle with a filled or partially filled hydrogen fuel tank at the refueling station, and switching the power source of the vehicle to include a hydrogen power source.

The selector valve includes a primary valve inlet port, a primary valve outlet port, and a movable valve body movable from a first position to a second position. The second position fluidly couples the second fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the first fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port.

Fuel filtration system

A system and method for fluidly sealing a cylinder head interface between an engine block and a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. An example apparatus includes a perimeter seal disposed on an outer periphery of the cylinder head. The perimeter seal has a first surface to abut a cylinder head sealing surface and a second surface to abut an engine block sealing surface. The perimeter seal is configured to prevent fluid from an external environment from entering the cylinder head interface and to allow fluid within the cylinder head interface to vent to the external environment when the fluid is above a predetermined pressure. A first fluid transfer tube seal fluidly seals a first fluid transfer orifice extending between the engine block and the cylinder head. The perimeter seal and the first fluid transfer tube seal are formed as a unitary structure.

A turbocharger including a charge air output port is fluidly coupled to the charge air cooler. A charge air tube is coupled to the charge air output port of the turbocharger. The charge air tube fluidly couples the turbocharger to the charge air cooler for transfer of compressed charge air from the turbocharger to the intake port of the internal combustion engine. A charge air tube support assembly is coupled to the charge air tube. The charge air tube support assembly is configured to allow axial displacement of the charge air tube along an axis of the charge air tube extending from the output port of the turbocharger to the charge air cooler in response to thermal expansion of the charge air tube. The charge air tube support assembly comprises a wear sleeve and a clamp.

A cylinder liner sealing arrangement for an internal combustion engine including a cylinder block having cylinder bores, a cylinder head, a cylinder liner within each cylinder bore and a circumferential cut-out formed in the upper and outer surfaces of the cylinder liner. A circular sealing ring is positioned in the circumferential cut-out with the sealing ring contacting at least the cylinder block and the cylinder liner to form a coolant seal therebetween. Replacing the cylinder liner seal includes removing the cylinder head while maintaining the position of the cylinder liner within the respective cylinder bore, removing an upper liner seal from within the circumferential cut-out while maintaining the position of the cylinder liner within the cylinder bore, positioning a replacement sealing ring in the circumferential cut-out while maintaining the position of the cylinder liner within the cylinder bore and replacing the cylinder head on the cylinder block of the engine.

A turbocharged internal combustion engine system includes at least one high pressure turbocharger system and at least one low pressure turbocharger system. An air-to-air intercooler is connected between the low pressure compressor of the low pressure turbocharger system and the high pressure compressor of the high pressure turbocharger system. An air-to-water aftercooler is connected to the intake system between the high pressure compressors and the intakes of the cylinders of the internal combustion engine.
