A splice equipment assembly includes two routing paths along opposite sides of a splice region. The two routing paths do not cross. The two routing paths do not extend circumferentially around the splice region. The two routing paths provide adequate slack to allow a splice tray to be removed from the splice region and moved to a workstation outside of the splice equipment assembly. Multiple splice equipment assemblies can be mounted to the same rack (e.g., at a front and rear of the rack).

Splice closure

A telecommunications equipment frame including a base, and two vertical uprights, and a top member; the upright members defining an upper equipment zone and a lower cable tray zone. One or more front trays are in the lower cable tray zone, and openings are provided through the frame to one or more rear trays. The equipment zone defined by the two uprights is open without cable management structure for receiving telecommunications equipment. At least one slack storage zone adjacent to the central zone includes a plurality of cable management devices for storing cable slack.

Telecommunications equipment frame

A fanout arrangement includes a fanout body; a mesh sleeve; and an arrangement to hold the mesh sleeve to the fanout body. The fanout body may have one or more removable sheath organizers to retain the upjacketing for the fanned out optical fibers.
