The present application provides a merchandiser. The merchandiser may include an ambient compartment with at least one ambient product therein, a temperature controlled compartment with at least one temperature controlled product therein, and a vending module in communication with the temperature controlled compartment such that the vending module dispenses a temperature controlled product in response to an ambient product being placed in the vending module.

The present invention relates to a binding element for binding a stack of documents comprised of loose sheets, having a spine piece and two side pieces, the side pieces being arranged essentially perpendicular to the spine piece. The binding element is made of a shape memory material or has at least part of the binding element made of a shape memory material.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for binding a number of sheets forming a stack along one of their edges by means of an essentially U-shaped deformable channel. The apparatus has a support for depositing horizontally the sheets to be bound, and having above the support a pressure applying device which is operable to deform the deformable channel and includes an actuating lever by means of which the pressure applying device is movable from an inoperative position into an operative position; to be able to use the apparatus universally and deform narrow and wide channels alike with optimum results, the apparatus is configured such that the pressure applying device is carried by a pivotal supporting structure and the pressure applying device is mounted for rotation on the supporting structure, wherein both the pressure applying device and the supporting structure are operable by means of the actuating lever.

Binding apparatus

The invention is directed to a binding apparatus for the binding of paper piles, comprising a punching unit for the punching of holes in a paper pile and a binding unit for the closing of a wire ring binder having a plurality of teeth which engage in the holes of the paper pile in a binding position. The punching unit comprises a movably arranged perforator plate having a plurality of punches and a counterplate that is rigidly connected to the housing of the binding apparatus and includes openings into which the punches engage in punching position, and the binding unit comprises of two clamping plates in an essentially parallel arrangement to each other.
