Various techniques are disclosed for facilitating side wagering activities conducted at a casino which includes a casino gaming network. In at least one embodiment, the gaming network includes a plurality of gaming devices, including a first gaming device. A side wager request may be received for placing a first side wager relating to a first target. An identity of a first player associated with generating the first side wager request may be determined. A first side wager session may be automatically initiated. In at least one embodiment, the placing of the first side wager includes placing first wager on a game play-related event or activity associated with the second person, wherein an outcome of the game play-related event or activity is influenced by a decision or action of the second person. In one embodiment, the first side wager includes first side wager criteria specifying that an outcome of the first side wager is related to at least one event associated with a different player's game play which is associated with the first target.

Distributed side wagering methods and systems

Various techniques are disclosed for facilitating side wagering activities conducted at a casino which includes a casino gaming network. In at least one embodiment, the gaming network includes a plurality of gaming devices, including a first gaming device. A side wager request may be received for placing a first side wager relating to a first target. In at least one embodiment, the first target may be selected from a group of possible targets which, for example, may include, but are not limited to one or more of the following (or combination thereof): casino players, game tables, electronic gaming devices (EGDs), game themes, game denominations, game paytables, etc. An identity of a first player associated with generating the first side wager request may be determined. A first side wager session may be automatically initiated.

A game table having a multiplayer interactive display/input device which enables multiple players to play primary or base wagering games and/or secondary or bonus games using the display/input device. The display/input device enables multiple players to simultaneously interact with the game table and the various games using the same display/input device. In various embodiments, the game table operates with one or more separate physical input devices, each having one or a plurality of the encoded patterns and each being sized and configured to be placed on top of the game table. The separate physical input devices enable the player to interact with the display/input device.

Gaming system having a display/input device configured to interactively operate with external device

A game table having a multiplayer interactive display/input device which enables multiple players to simultaneously play primary or base wagering games and/or secondary or bonus games using the display/input device. The display/input device enables multiple players to simultaneously interact with the game table and the various games using the same display/input device. The game table enables multiple players to manipulate displayed objects (such as virtual cards or other game symbols) displayed by the display/input device at the same time. This enables the display/input device to simultaneously display the same game to multiple players in an integrated seamless manner without the need for multiple different sets of display devices and input devices for each of the players.

Gaming system having multiple player simultaneous display/input device

A gaming machine, system, and method including a game event in which a player aims at a target. In one embodiment, the game event includes a plurality of targets. The gaming device displays the plurality of targets to the player and enables the player to select one of the targets. The gaming device designates the player-selected target as the primary target for the game event. Based on the designated primary target, the gaming device identifies one or more of the other targets as secondary targets for the game event. The gaming device determines for each of the primary and secondary targets a probability that that target will be hit in the game event. The gaming device determines which of the targets is actually hit in the game event based on the probabilities associated with the targets.

Gaming device and method of operating a gaming device including player controlled targeting

In an embodiment, a gaming system includes a multi-player wheel game. The game includes a wheel having a plurality of sections. Each of the sections is associated with an award symbol. Each of the sections is also associated with a characteristic independent of the award symbol, such as a color. The gaming system enables each of a plurality of active players to select at least one of the characteristics associated with the wheel. The gaming system activates the wheel and indicates at least one section of the wheel. The gaming system and at the gaming devices associated with the gaming system provide an award associated with the award symbol of the indicated section. For each active player that selected the characteristic associated with the indicated section, the gaming system and the gaming devices associated with the gaming system provide a modified award.

The gaming system also enables use of a card that is encoded or encrypted with a tag (such as an radio frequency tag) that the cameras or readers of the game table can detect. The card interacts with the display/input device of the game table.

Gaming system having user interface with uploading and downloading capability

A holder of oblong objects pivotably mounted therein so as to be selectively positionable and selectively retainable therein comprising a pair of oblong sidewall structures spaced apart across an object retaining space from one another each having a mounting end such that a supporting one of the pair of sidewall structures has a divide extending therein partially along its length to provide a pair of split sidewall spring sheets across the divide from one another with each of the pair of sidewall spring sheets having a sidewall spring opening therethrough. A holder of oblong objects pivotably mounted therein so as to be selectively positionable and selectively retainable therein comprising a pair of oblong sidewall structures spaced apart across an object retaining space from one another with a restraining spring formed of a resilient sheet curved sufficiently to form a joined spring end with a pair of spring sides across from one another to each have a free end across from one another with each free end having a spring opening therethrough and with the restraining spring supported on the mounting side end of a supporting one of the sidewall structures in the pair thereof such that the spring openings therein are also across from one another. An ejector is mounted in the holder to be positioned in the object retaining space at an ejector side of the object retaining space to extend between the pair of spaced apart oblong sidewall structures with the ejector formed of a resilient material. A pivot pin is positionable concurrently through each of the spring openings, and also removable therefrom.

A holder of oblong objects pivotably mounted therein so as to be selectively positionable and selectively retainable therein comprising a pair of oblong sidewall structures spaced apart from one another each having a mounting side end across from one another with at least one of said pair of oblong structures having a sidewall opening at the mounting end thereof extending therethrough. A pivot pin is positionable in said sidewall opening, and also removable therefrom. An oblong object holder has a connection structure at a connection end thereof and supports a selected object to be held in the holder at an opposite support end thereof with the connection structure having a pair of connection bars each extending away from the support end and about an opposite side of a connection opening between them to result in gap ends thereof facing one another across a connection gap extending between them from the connection opening. The connection bars are formed of a resilient material sufficiently resilient to allow the gap ends to be forced away from one another far enough to allow the pivot pin to pass between them to allow oblong object holder and any oblong object supported to be positioned in the first object retaining space.
