Embodiments of the present invention are directed to security systems for securing an item of merchandise from theft or unauthorized removal. For example, the security system may include a sensor configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise and a base configured to removably support the sensor and the item of merchandise thereon. The sensor includes at least one electrical contact and an inductive coil, and the base includes at least one electrical contact and driving electronics for the inductive coil. The sensor is configured to transfer power inductively to the item of merchandise when the at least one electrical contact of the sensor contacts the at least one electrical contact of the base to thereby allow the driving electronics to energize the inductive coil, wherein the sensor is configured to cease transferring power to the item of merchandise when the sensor is lifted off of the base.

A sensor for a merchandise display security system for displaying and protecting an article of merchandise is provided. The security system includes a merchandise bracket configured to be secured to the article of merchandise and a sensor configured to releasably engage the merchandise bracket and to detect unauthorized removal of the merchandise bracket or the sensor from the article of merchandise. The sensor is configured to be releasably engaged with the merchandise bracket such that the sensor is removable from the merchandise bracket while the merchandise bracket remains secured to the article of merchandise.

A security device for securing an item of merchandise from theft is provided. The security device includes a housing configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise and a lock mechanism operably engaged with the housing. The lock mechanism is operable to lock the item of merchandise within or to the housing in a locked configuration and to allow the item of merchandise to be removed from the housing in an unlocked configuration. The lock mechanism is configured to communicate with an electronic key for locking and/or unlocking thereof.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems and methods for preventing unauthorized access to server racks. In one example, a system includes an electronic key and an electronic lock configured to be attached to the server rack. The electronic lock is configured to communicate with the electronic key for determining whether the electronic key is authorized to unlock or lock the lock. The electronic lock includes a handle configured to be disengaged from the electronic lock when the electronic key is authorized, and the handle is configured to be actuated to unlock the lock for accessing the server rack when the handle is disengaged from the electronic lock. The electronic lock is configured to re-lock only when the handle is engaged with the electronic lock.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to merchandise security devices, systems, and methods for displaying and protecting an article of merchandise from theft. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a security device comprising a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise, a cable configured to releasably engage the sensor, and a lock mechanism configured to releasably lock the cable to the sensor in a locked position. The cable is removable from the sensor when the lock mechanism is in an unlocked position. The system also includes a remote device configured to wirelessly communicate with the security device, wherein the remote device is configured to transmit a command to the security device for locking or unlocking the lock mechanism.

In one example, the merchandise security system includes a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise and a base for removably supporting the sensor and the item of merchandise thereon. The system also includes a recoiler operably coupled to the sensor. The recoiler includes a rotatable member defining a helical recess. The system further includes a cable configured to connect to the sensor and to be unwound from and wound on the rotatable member as the cable is extended and retracted. The cable is configured to be extended from the recoiler in response to the sensor being lifted off of the base, and the cable is configured to be retracted into the recoiler in response to the sensor being moved to a seated position on the base. The helical recess is configured to at least partially receive the cable therein as the cable is wound on the rotatable member.

An anchor assembly for securing a catheter to a human body. An anchor assembly includes an anchor comprising an anchor body and a flange coupled with the anchor body. The flange has a top side and a bottom side opposite the top side, the bottom side configured to engage a human body.
