The present invention is directed to non-aqueous, curable film-forming compositions comprising: a) an anhydride functional compound; b) at least one of: (i) a hydroxyl functional compound having at least two hydroxyl functional groups and (ii) a carbodiimide functional compound; and c) hydrolyzable functional groups. After application of the curable film-forming composition to a substrate to form a coated substrate, and upon subjecting the coated substrate to curing conditions, the curable film-forming composition undergoes multiple cure reactions. The present invention is further directed to methods of preparing coated substrates with these compositions.

Methods of preparing coated substrates and non-aqueous, curable film-forming compositions used therefor

A radio frequency signaling system includes a curable coating composition configured to be cured to form a cured coating and a sensor received in the curable coating composition. The sensor includes circuitry forming an inductor-capacitor circuit. The circuitry has a maximum outer diameter of 10 μm-2.0 mm. The circuitry is configured to generate an electromagnetic field in response to an external radio frequency signal. A container configured to be monitored by a radio frequency signaling system is also provided. The container includes: a container body having an outer surface and an inner surface; a cured coating on the inner surface and/or the outer surface of the container body; and a sensor positioned in the cured coating configured to detect absorption of a fluid contained in the container body by the cured coating.

Dielectric devices and methods of fabrication

The present invention is directed to an acrylic polymer prepared from a reaction mixture comprising: (i) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprising hydroxyl functional groups; (ii) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprising polydialkylsiloxane groups; (iii) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprising carboxylic acid functional groups or amine functional groups; and (iv) a reactive diluent that is reactive with the ethylenically unsaturated monomer (iii). A coating composition includes a polymer prepared from a mixture of reactants including (a) a fluorinated polysiloxane and (b) an alkoxy silane functional resin. The alkoxy silane functional resin includes a polyurethane resin or an acrylic resin. A substrate at least partially coated with the coating composition is also disclosed. A method of condensing a polar fluid by contacting a substrate at least partially coated with the coating composition with a polar fluid, such that the polar fluid condenses on at least a portion of the coated substrate is also disclosed.

Single component hydrophobic coating

A method for treating a surface of a microporous membrane includes: (1) contacting at least one surface of the membrane with a treatment composition including: (a) an acrylic polymer prepared from a mixture of vinyl monomers including: (i) a (meth)acrylic acid monomer and (ii) a silane-functional acrylic monomer; and (b) a base, where the acrylic polymer is in contact with the filler present in the matrix; and (2) subjecting the membrane of (1) to conditions sufficient to effect a condensation reaction between the filler and the acrylic polymer. Disclosed are methods for applying and curing a multilayer coating on a substrate. The methods include applying to an aluminum substrate a primer composition, coalescing the composition to form a substantially continuous film over the substrate, exposing the film to radiation to cure the film, applying a second composition to the cured film, coalescing the second composition to form a substantially continuous second film, and curing the second film. The primer composition includes a polyene and a polythiol.
