Change tracking and collaborative communication are provided in authoring content in a collaborative environment. Monitored changes, comments, and similar input by the collaborating authors may be presented on demand or automatically to each author based on changes and/or comments that affect a particular author, that author's portion of collaborated content, type of changes/comments, or similar criteria. Change and/or comments notification may be provided in a complementary user interface of the collaborative authoring application or through a separate communication application such as email or text messaging.

Tracking changes in collaborative authoring environment

Embodiments described herein provide for integrating a transmit phased-array (Tx) antenna and a receive phased-array (Rx) antenna onto an electrically-conductive plate that forms a ground plane. The plate includes groves that operate as an RF choke. The RF choke mitigates the energy coupling between the Tx antenna and the Rx antenna. Spatial features of the grooves are selected based on a scan angle of at least one of the Tx antenna and the Rx antenna. Due to the electronic scanning performed by the Tx antenna and the Rx antenna, the energy coupling between the Tx antenna and the Rx antenna dynamically varies and may depend upon the relative scan angles between main beams of the antennas. The energy coupling may also depend upon the side lobe energy pattern of the Tx antenna, which varies based on the scan angle of the Tx antenna.

Real-time co-authoring and support for the collaborative process is enabled by making it easy to initiate a collaborative document, to invite the proper people into the process, to collect existing artifacts, thoughts, and research, and then to divide and track the work to completion across a collaborating group. To employ presence-based history information in conjunction with a notebook application, presence information for one or more users associated with a notebook application is determined from a variety of presence services. One or more interactions of the users are tracked in conjunction with a location within the notebook to record history information associated with the one or more users. The history information may be presented to the users through a user interface in conjunction with a location within the notebook application or through a separate user interface. The presented history information may include the recorded history information and statistical information based on the recorded history information. The users may interact with the user interface to employ the presented presence-based history information in conjunction with contents of the notebook application. For example, replay of user interactions in conjunction with a location within the notebook application may be enabled.

Employment of presence-based history information in notebook application

To employ presence information in conjunction with a notebook application, presence information is determined for one or more users associated with a notebook application. The presence information may be obtained from a variety of sources, such as a communication application, a social or professional network, and a presence module of the notebook application. Once determined, the presence information is presented to the users through a user interface in conjunction with a location within the notebook application or through a separate user interface. The notebook application may further track the presence information for the users interacting with the notebook application. The users may then be enabled to interact with the user interface to use the presented presence information in conjunction with content maintained by the notebook application.

Employing presence information in notebook application

An antenna aperture for mounting on the outside mast structure of a submarine is disclosed. The antenna aperture is designed to withstand hydrostatic pressure cycles as would be experienced by a submarine. The antenna is constructed of a highly corrosion resistant housing upon which a wide angle impedance (WAIM) cover designed to meet antenna RF requirements is integrated.

Submarine qualified antenna aperture

A phased array antenna system on an aircraft that incorporates a choke plate that significantly attenuates sidelobes of the antenna beam pattern at elevation angles that would cause RF interference with ground-based terrestrial wireless networks. The choke plate includes a plurality of choke grooves that substantially circumscribe the antenna aperture. The choke plate has an upper surface that is positioned generally coplanar with the upper surface of the antenna aperture. The grooves of the choke plate may be filled with a dielectric material. The choke plate provides a smooth aerodynamic component that significantly attenuates beam scattering, and thus the radiation pattern sidelobes of the antenna at or below the horizon, when the aircraft is in flight.

Phased array antenna choke plate method and apparatus

A conformal phased array antenna and associated method of repairing the antenna are provided. The antenna has individual subassemblies or line replaceable units such that the antenna can be repaired without completely removing the entire antenna. The antenna generally includes a planar antenna subassembly including an array of RF modules disposed in a reference plane. The antenna also typically has a contoured waveguide subassembly including a contoured aperture honeycomb structure. The contoured aperture honeycomb structure defines a number of passages that are in communication with respective RF modules. The exterior surface of the contoured aperture honeycomb structure that faces away from the planar antenna subassembly is contoured such that at least portions of this surface are at an oblique angle with respect to the reference plane. This contoured surface may advantageously be shaped to match the contour of the surface of the structure to which the antenna is mounted.
