A wheelchair is provided for positioning and transporting patients. An exemplary embodiment of the wheelchair includes a tiltable seat frame portion and a base frame portion. The seat frame portion is generally configured to tilt relative to the base frame portion. An arcuate track adjustment portion generally permits pivotal adjustment of the focus about which the seat frame portion rotates. A seat frame adjustment portion generally permits pivotal adjustment of the seat frame portion relative to the base frame portion such that the seat frame portion maintains proper orientation with the base frame portion upon adjustment of the focus about which the seat frame portion rotates.

A shelf is connected to risers that are interference fit together to achieve a clamping effect between the shelves and the risers. Each shelf may comprise a plastic shelf portion and at least one reinforcement portion secured to the plastic shelf portion to reinforce the plastic shelf portion along its length. In one embodiment a plurality of metal bars are used as the reinforcement portion having a tapered end. The reinforcement portions may be inserted into channels formed in the plastic shelve portions and secured to the shelf portions using an interference fit.

Shelving unit

A shelf is connected to risers that are screwthreaded together to achieve a clamping effect between the shelves and the risers. Each shelf may comprise a plastic shelf portion and at least one reinforcement portion secured to the plastic shelf portion to reinforce the plastic shelf portion along its length. In one embodiment a plurality of metal bars are used as the reinforcement portion. The reinforcement portions may be inserted into channels formed in the plastic shelve portions and may be attached to the shelve portions using a separate attachment mechanism.

A shelf mounting bracket has a bracket body with a forward end, a rear end, an upper side, and a lower side. One or more connectors extend from the rear end for mounting the bracket to a support. At least one forward shelf support is provided near the forward end and faces in the direction of the upper side of the bracket body. At least one rear shelf support is provided near the rear end and faces in the direction of the upper side of the bracket body. A locking clip is carried near the rear end of the bracket body. The clip is slidable between a locked position such that a portion of the locking clip is positioned vertically over and spaced from the rear shelf support, and an unlocked position providing vertical clearance to the rear shelf support.

Shelf mounting bracket for adjustable organizer system

An adjustable wall mounting apparatus and method of installing the same includes a plurality of vertical uprights and a top rail assembly. The top rail assembly is configured to be mounted to a surface to achieve a selected top rail width. A plurality of covers having a predetermined length are provided. Each cover is adapted to mount to and hide exposed portions of the installed support rail segments. Each cover can be positioned between and act as a spacer to set a predefined distance between adjacent ones of the plurality of vertical uprights hung from the support rail segments. The method includes installing the top rail, hanging an upright, and then using covers to correctly space additional uprights hung from the top rail.

Top rail assembly for adjustable organizer system

A shoe storage shelf assembly is suitable for mounting to an organizer system and has at least one storage shelf with a top side, an underside, a depth from front to back, and a width from side to side. The shelf is configured for use as a standard storage shelf in an organizer system. The assembly also has a pair of shelf support brackets each with a body having a rear end and an upward facing shelf support surface. The support surface is forwardly and downwardly inclined and has an upturned stop at a distal forward end. Connectors extend rearward from the rear end of the brackets and are configured to connect to uprights in an organizer system. The shelf can be inverted such that its top side rests on the shelf support surfaces with its front borne against the upturned stops.

Shoe shelf for adjustable organizer system

An organizer system has a length adjustable horizontal top rail, a plurality of length adjustable vertical uprights, and a plurality of mounting brackets attachable to the uprights. The mounting brackets are mounted to the uprights at any of multiple optional desired locations. One or more shelves are mounted to the mounting brackets. The shelf width is adjustable to virtually any width from a minimum single shelf width by using two or more of the shelves. Storage accessories can be mounted to the system and can include shoe storage shelves, shoe storage racks, clothes hanging rods, vertical storage devices, and forwardly and rearwardly slidable storage devices.

A sliding closet organizer for mounting on an interior vertical surface of a closet wall includes a substantially two-dimensional vertical  storage rack and a sliding means adapted for attachment to the interior vertical closet wall surface, wherein the sliding means guides the vertical storage rack into a first stored position and a second deployed position.

A height adjustable upright for an adjustable organizer system has at least one first segment with a upper end configured to hang from a mounting rail and has a lower end. The upright also has at least one second segment with a pair of opposed ends, at least one of which being configured to connect end-to-end with the lower end of the first segment. A clip has a pair of opposed ends each configured to connect to the lower end of the first segment and to the one end of the at least one second segment to hang the second segment from the first segment.

An adjustable width wire shelving unit has at least one first shelf and at least one second shelf. Each shelf has an elongate front wire, an elongate rear wire, and a plurality of transverse wires connected and extending between the respective front and rear wires. The front and rear wires extend a width of their respective shelf. The first shelf is sized to overlap and nest with the second shelf over a desired fraction of its width. The transverse wires of the overlapped first and second shelves lie in essentially the same plane to form a support surface.

A long handled tool storage device has a base panel with a top surface, a base perimeter that defines a base panel size and shape, and a bottom side arranged so that the base perimeter rests on a ground surface when the storage device is in use. Two sides of the base panel are joined together at first ends thereof to generally define a rear corner and a front side spanning between second ends of the two sides. A plurality of tool handle receptacles are provided in the base panel and at least recessed downward relative to a plane of the top surface. A plurality of risers extend upward from the base panel. An upper panel has a perimeter that defines an upper panel size and shape. The upper panel is supported by the risers above and spaced from the top surface of the base panel. A plurality of tool handle openings are formed through the upper panel. At least a portion of the front side of the base panel extends outward away from the rear corner and beyond a linear reference extending between the second ends of the two sides.

Anti-tip rack for long handled tools

An apparatus for mounting accessories to a panel surface includes at least one accessory interface on the panel surface. An elongate engaging section is recessed within and lies generally parallel to a part of the panel surface. An accessory device has a utility part and an elongate engaging part that is coupled to the utility part. A plurality of the accessory devices and/or accessory interfaces can be provided. An appropriate device and interface are selected. The engaging part is inserted into a portion of the panel interface. The accessory device is slid to an installed position with the engaging part received in the engaging section of the accessory interface.

Apparatus and method for mounting accessory devices to panels

A storage device for long handle tools has a base panel with a top surface and a base perimeter that defines a base panel size and shape. A plurality of tool handle receptacles are provided in the top surface of the base panel and a plurality of risers extend upward from the base panel. An upper panel has a perimeter that defines an upper panel size and shape and is supported by the risers above and spaced from the top surface of the base panel. A plurality of tool handle openings are formed through the upper panel. One or more of the tool handle openings, the tool handle receptacles, the upper panel, and the base panel are constructed and arranged to counteract a tipping moment created by long handled tools received through the tool handle openings and in the tool handle receptacles.
