The present disclosure relates generally to techniques for limiting and tracking queries in a data sharing environment such as a data cleanroom. A shared tokening may provide owner account control over sharing to client accounts within the data sharing environment.

Query limiting and tracking in a data sharing environment

A non-transitory computer readable medium includes instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive, from a requesting account, a selection of one or more data sets that are indicated as sharable and requestor information. The instructions, when executed, also cause the one or more processors to generate a sharing request for the one or more data sets, validate the sharing request based on restrictions for the one or more data sets, apply requestor-specific restrictions to a subset of the one or more data sets to generate a modified subset of the one or more data sets, and send the modified subset of the one or more data sets to the requesting account.

Systems and methods for data sharing and processing

A tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable medium, including machine-readable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to identify an optimal machine configuration and a number of optimal machines to complete a job. The one or more processors may further dynamically generate a matrix of available equivalent machine configurations and a corresponding number of machines for each available equivalent machine configuration and provide a preferred machine configuration and a number of machines having the preferred machine configuration for completing the job, where the preferred machine configuration comprises the optimal machine configuration or a machine configuration from the dynamically generated matrix.

Systems and methods for optimizing of data processing

The present systems and methods allow for rapid processing of large volumes of events. A producer node in a cluster determines a sharding key for a received event from an event stream. The producer node uses a sharding map to correlate the sharding key for the event with a producer channel, and provides the event to a producer event buffer associated with the producer channel. The producer event buffer transmits the event to a corresponding consumer event buffer associated with a consumer channel on a consumer node. The event processing leverages a paired relationship between producer channels on the producer node and consumer channels on the consumer node, so as to generate enhanced throughput. The event processing also supports dynamic rebalancing of the system in response to adding or removing producer or consumer nodes, or adding or removing producer or consumer channels to or from producer or consumer nodes.

Methods and systems are described for allowing third party developers to add extensions to a cloud service provider's software as a service (SaaS) services by editing an 'empty' config file according to a schema provided by the cloud service provider to form a delta file and then merging the delta file with an internal, full version of the config file. The full config file is then used to initialize and instantiate objects upon a restart of the cloud provider's services.

External platform extensions in a multi-tenant environment

Enforcing access control to individual extensions of services in a multi-tenant cloud environment by initializing objects for the extension based on public and private configuration files with service access rules that are merged is described. This allows third party vendors to specify payment rules for their own extensions while securely keeping the core extension configuration files. Tenants of the multi-tenant cloud environment can pick and choose which services to purchase, and the cloud environment automates the process of accessing the service using the third-party developer's tenant access list rules.
