A leveling device has a housing, a support surface which is fixed with the housing, an adjusting device including at least one adjusting screw which is displaceable outwardly and has an adjusting thread which is engageable with a counter thread for adjusting the adjusting screw, the counter thread being formed as a partially side of a slider which is displaceable transversely to a longitudinal axis of the adjusting screw and disengageable from the adjusting thread.

A hand circular saw comprises a swinging protective hood, a housing which carries a saw shaft axis and a saw blade held rotatable about the saw blade axis, a base plate, the housing being arranged independently turnably relative to the base plate around two further axes extending substantially perpendicular to one another, a first of the further axes being parallel to the saw shaft axis for guiding a turning movement for adjusting a cutting depth and is adjustable on a cutting depth guiding bracket with a scale, while a second of the further axes extends both parallel to the base plate and also parallel to the saw blade for guiding a turning movement for adjusting a miter angle, the cutting depth guiding bracket having an angle-profile shaped cross-section and having at least one leg which is formed as a sliding guide supporting the housing in each cutting depth position.

A hand circular saw has a saw blade rotatable about a saw shaft axis, a housing which receives the saw shaft axis, a base plate which supports the housing and is movable with the latter, the housing being turnable relative to the base plate about two axes extending perpendicular to one another independently from one another and arrestable, the axis including a first axis which extends parallel to the saw shaft axis and operates for adjusting a cutting depth, and a second axis which extends both parallel to the base plate and to the saw blade and is used for adjustment of a miter angle, a coulisse having a circular arc-shaped guiding track and a coulisse block which determine a position of the second axis. The coulisse has a coulisse part which is fixedly connected with the base plate and has an upwardly curved ring portion which is also arranged on the base plate. The ring portion has a convex side which has the guiding track extending upwardly and has a center of curvature coinciding with the second axis used for adjustment of the miter angle.

An electric motor operated hand circular saw has a base plate, a motor housing turnable relative to the base plate, an electric motor accommodated in the motor housing and having a drive shaft, a circular saw blade arranged on the drive shaft of the electric motor, and a pre-slitting abutment for adjusting a pre-slitting position of the saw blade in which the saw blade penetrates into a surface of a workpiece to be sawed by a limited pre-slitting depth. The pre-slitting abutment has two fixed abutment positions in which two different turning positions of the motor housing relative to the base plate are adjusted, so that in a first of the abutment positions during guiding the base plate over a guiding rail on a workpiece surface and in a second of the abutment positions during guiding the base plate along a strip clamped on the workpiece surface or with a parallel abutment held on the base plate on the workpiece edge on the workpiece surface, the saw blade penetrates correspondingly into the workpiece surface with a pro-slitting depth.

An arresting device for force-transmitting fixing of two relatively movable parts, particularly for cutting angle or cutting depth adjustment of electric hand saws, the arresting device has a pin having a radially extending pressing surface for pressing against one of the parts, a clamping element having a pressing surface for pressing against another of the parts and arranged on the pin so that by a relative turning of the clamping element and the pin the pressing surfaces are moved toward one another for producing a clamping and from one another for releasing the clamping. The clamping element is formed as a hand lever having a clamping sleeve and a lever arm extending from the clamping sleeve. The clamping sleeve is turnably arranged on the pin and has a clamping collar extending over the lever arm and provided with a ring-shaped end surface forming the pressing surface of the clamping element. The pin has an outer peripheral surface provided with at least one depressed cam path having a path starting portion at a free pin end and a path end facing the pressing surface of the pin. The cam path has a pitch which starting from the path starting portion reduces in a peripheral direction toward and to the path end. A a guiding pin extends radially in the clamping sleeve and engages in the at least one cam path.

Arresting device

A motor-driven hand circular saw, has a base plate, a motor, a drive housing surrounding the motor, a saw blade provided with saw teeth and being in operative connection with the motor, a saw blade housing accommodating the saw blade, an upwardly movable saw shaft having the saw blade, a hinge arranged so that the drive housing together with saw blade is movable upwardly and downwardly normal to the saw shaft with respect to the base plate for cutting depth adjustment. The saw blade is movable in and out. A turning hinge having a turning axis extends in a feed direction so that the saw blade housing is connected through the turning hinge with the base plate, and there is at least one upper and lower handle with respect to the base plate. The saw blade housing with the saw blade is located at the left and the drive housing is located at the right as considered in the feed direction. The hinge for cutting depth adjustment is arranged at the front side of the base plate as considered in the feed direction. The upper handle is formed as a pistol-like handle having a free end extending parallel to the feed direction and toward the base plate downwardly.
