There are provided systems and methods for use with high mast luminaires. For example, there is provided a lighting system that can include a mounting portion and an optical assembly attached to the mounting portion via a rotatable platform. The light system can further include a stop disposed inside the mounting portion, and the stop can be configured to permit a rotation of the optical assembly and to limit the rotation to an angle greater than 360 degrees.

Provided is a receptacle for installation within a lighting fixture. The receptacle includes a platform (i) for exposure external to the lighting fixture and (ii) providing connectivity for coupling to an external control device and a base operationally coupled to the platform and including a first set of one or more nodes configured for coupling to a first set of wires.

There are provided methods and devices for programming a luminaire. For example, there is provided a programming module for use with a luminaire. The programming module includes a connector configured to provide an interface between the programming module and the luminaire via a photo-electric element (PE) socket of the luminaire. The programming module further includes a memory and a processor. When executing instructions included in the memory, the processor is configured to perform operations that include measuring the input power to the luminaire and changing a driver current set point.

In various embodiments, there is provided a luminaire optical system that includes a first optical module and a second optical module. The first optical module includes a first reflective surface configured to output light vectors in a first direction. The second optical module includes a second reflective surface configured to reflect light vectors from the second optical module in a second direction. The first reflective surface and the second reflective surfaces are surfaces of one reflector.

A lighting fixture including a housing having an exterior wall with interior and exterior surfaces, a tray contained in the housing, at least one heat-sensitive component contained in the housing, and a mount secured to the tray supporting the heat-sensitive component. The mount maintains the heat-sensitive component in thermal contact with the interior surface of the exterior wall of the housing, thereby facilitating dissipation of heat from the heat-sensitive component through the exterior wall of the housing.
