Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a drainage control system including, a tubular body with a tubular body lumen extending from a distal end to a proximal end and a collapsible tube disposed within the tubular body lumen, the collapsible tube including a collapsible tube lumen extending from a distal end to a proximal end of the collapsible tube. The collapsible tube can be attached to the tubular body, such that fluid flow through the tubular body lumen flows through the collapsible tube lumen. The tubular body can include a valve that is actuatable between a first configuration wherein fluid flow is allowed through the tubular body lumen and a second configuration wherein fluid flow is prevented through the tubular body lumen. An airflow source can be coupled to the valve such that pressure from the airflow source actuates the valve.

Collapsible thin-walled valve for drainage control

Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a dynamic response drainage and occlusion system configured to drain a fluid from a patient. The drainage system includes an input airflow device to provide airflow into the drainage lumen, a pressure sensor to measure pressure within the drainage tube, and an output airflow device to provide airflow out of the drainage tube. A controller including control logic configured to acquire pressure data from the pressure sensor, determine a running pressure rate-of-change from the acquired pressure data, compare the running pressure rate-of-change with a pressure rate-of-change defined by the control logic, and adjust an operating characteristic of at least one of the input airflow device and the output airflow device to move the running pressure rate-of-change toward the pressure rate-of-change defined by the control logic. The system further includes catheter occlusions systems to automatically protect the patient from pressure spikes within the system.

Dynamic pressure response and catheter occlusion system

A lid adapter for coupling with a lid of a collection container where the lid includes an outlet vent. The lid adapter including a housing including a top surface and one or more side panels that are configured to couple with a top of the lid and a port coupled to the top surface and configured to rotate between a first position and a second position, wherein when the lid adapter is coupled to the lid and the port is in the first position, a fluid seal is established between a distal end of the port and the top of the lid surrounding the outlet vent thereby enabling fluid flow from the outlet vent and through the port. When the port is in the second position, the fluid seal is not established, and when the port is in the first position, the port is disposed perpendicularly to the top surface.
