A window or door limiting device is described having a striker assembly mounted on a window sash or door panel and a corresponding limiting assembly mounted on an adjacent window sash or door panel. The limiting assembly selectively engages the striker assembly with a rotary element to restrict movement of at least one of the first or second window sash or door panel relative to the other of the first or second window sash or door panel. The rotary element is rotatable to selectively engage or disengage the striker assembly to correspondingly restrict movement of one or more of the window sashes or door panels.

Sliding fenestration control device

A limiter system includes a base including a pin. A rocker is rotatably and translationally coupled with the pin. The rocker includes a first end including an abutment feature, a second end including a reset feature, and a slot including first and second slot ends and a slot track therebetween. The pin is translationally and rotatably received in the slot, and the pin is translational between the first and second slot ends. The rocker is configured for positioning between a first abutting position and a second resetting position. In the first abutting position, the abutment feature extends away from the base. In the second resetting position, the reset feature extends away from the base, and the abutment feature is nearer to the base than the reset feature.

Sash limiter apparatus and method

A window opening control assembly that includes a first member for attachment to one of a sash or a window frame. The first member includes a locking assembly. The window opening control assembly further includes a second member for attachment to the other of the sash or the window frame. The second member includes a flexible element that extends to the first member. The flexible element is secured by the locking assembly such that the flexible element is fed from the second member as the second member is moved away from the first member until the flexible element is anchored within the second element and the second element is correspondingly restrained from moving further away from the first member. The locking assembly is selectively unlocked to permit removal of the flexible element from the locking assembly and permit continued movement of the second member away from the first member.

Window opening control assembly

A running board for a motor vehicle is provided. The running board includes a bracket assembly and a shroud for covering the bracket assembly. The bracket assembly includes a forward fastening plate and a rearward fastening plate for attachment to a motor vehicle, a bar extending between the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate, and a step member attached to the bar extending between the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate and providing a step area. The shroud includes a step shroud constructed to cover the step member, a forward shroud constructed to cover the bar extending from the step member to the forward fastening plate, and a rearward shroud constructed to cover the bar extending from the step member to the rearward fastening plate. The running board can include a bracket adapter for attaching the forward fastening plate and the rearward fastening plate to the motor vehicle. A method for installing a running board on a motor vehicle is provided.

A lawnmower has attached to the forward portion of its mowing deck a pivotally mounted extending flailing mechanism. The flailing mechanism is an arm that is pivotally mounted to one front corner of the mower deck at its most rearward end and extends from that point either across the front of the mower in its retracted position or out in front of the mower in its extended position. The flailing mechanism has a flailing head positioned on the under side of the arm and located at the arm's most outward end in relation to the pivotal connection on the mower. Further the flailing head is rotationally mounted to the arm such that it may be rotated from a substantially horizontal cutting plane towards a vertical.

Windshield visor for motor vehicles having windshield, roof, and driver and passenger side door frames. The windshield visor includes a forward wing, a first mounting plate, and a second mounting plate. The forward wing provides shading from sun light and shielding from precipitation, and has left and right wing tips, top and bottom surfaces, and leading and trailing edges. The first mounting plate is connected to the left wing tip of forward wing and attaches to a motor vehicle's driver side door frame. The second mounting plate is connected to the right wing tip of the forward wing and attached to the motor vehicle's passenger side door frame.

A cab fairing for attachment to a pickup truck cab is provided. The cab fairing includes a left side panel, a right side panel, and a wing panel. The left and right side panels include a forward region having a forward edge for adhesive attachment to a pick up truck cab sidewalls provided beyond the pickup truck driver and passenger doors. The left and right side panels can additionally be adhesively attached to the pick up truck roof. The wing panel includes a forward region having a forward edge for adhesive attachment to the roof of the pickup truck cab. Preferably, the panels include a rearward region having a flange edge for adhesively attaching to the rear side of the pickup truck cab.
