Disclosed is a system for providing vehicle indicator lights, such as brake lights for a bicycle or motorcycle. The system may include at least one indicator light, a gyroscopic sensor, an accelerometer, a power supply, and a signal processing unit that receives inputs from the gyroscopic sensor and the accelerometer and activates an indicator light based on inputs from the sensors. Various algorithmic functions and other features may also be included in the system to make detection more robust and the make the system useable for a variety of different vehicle applications.

Safety device

A multi-action, battery-powered, trigger-activated lighting system automatically provides soft light upon human motion during the night, even in the event of a power outage, and can additionally be deployed quickly for use as an intense flashlight. Furthermore, it can provide low-battery indication to prompt the user to install fresh batteries whenever necessary, before a critical need arises.

Multi-action, battery-powered, trigger-activated lighting system

A stamp assembly for use with an ink to create an image having an area on a surface of a workpiece. The stamp assembly comprises a handle member having a surface with an area at least approximating the area of the image. A flexible sheet-like embossing member is provided and has opposite first and second sides. The first side has a first side surface and the second side has an embossed portion with a substantially planar raised surface corresponding to the image. The first side of the embossing member is removably secured by interfacial tack to the surface of the handle member. The embossed portion is adapted to receive ink on the raised surface and the raised surface is adapted to thereafter engage the surface of the workpiece to form the image on the workpiece.

An aesthetic structure comprising a sheet of material having a smooth surface and a plurality of strips of a non-metallic material. Each strip has a surface and a layer of adhesive material is adhered to the surface of each strip for securing the strip to the smooth surface of the sheet of material. The strips are disposed on the smooth surface of the sheet of material to segment the smooth surface of the sheet of material into discrete portions. A method for making an aesthetic structure such as a stained glass window is provided.

Reinforced picture frame moulding

A reusable, evacuable enclosure comprising a bag with an opening in which to place compressible articles, such as clothing or linen, and a one-way valve in a surface of the bag. Compressible articles may be placed in the bag and sealed from the surrounding environment by placing a seal across the opening. The excess air in the bag may then be removed by placing a cylindrical attachment of a household vacuum cleaner over the one-way valve. Once the excess air is extracted, a cap is placed over the valve to ensure a permanent seal. Removal of excess air reduces the size of the compressible article and inhibits the growth of insects and bacteria, which may damage the contents of the bag. Moreover, the enclosure is impervious to moisture, and so inhibits the growth of mildew.

Reusable, evacuable enclosure for storage of clothing and the like

A resiliently yieldable picture frame corner insert for use with a picture frame corner construction. The corner construction includes first and second elongate frame parts extending at right angles to each other and having juxtaposed end portions and longitudinal axes. Each of the end portions has a hole therein extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the frame part and a slot extending from the hole and through the end portion. The corner insert is secured to the juxtaposed end portions for retaining them in contact with each other. The corner insert is formed as one piece and has first and second web portions disposed in the slots and first and second outer portions disposed in the holes. The web portions are resiliently yieldable with respect to each other and serve to apply yieldable forces tending to urge the juxtaposed end portions into engagement with each other. The first and second outer portions are enlarged with respect to the web portions and have forwardly tapered end portions which extend beyond the length of the web portions and are adapted to facilitate insertion of the corner insert into the end portions. In one embodiment, the first and second web portions extend in respective planes which intersect at an angle ranging from 80.degree. to 95.degree. and are tapered in cross-section in plan in a direction toward the outer portions.
