A system and method for aligning a target to an equipped vehicle for calibration of a sensor on the equipped vehicle includes a vehicle support stand upon which an equipped vehicle is disposed in an established known position for calibration of the sensor, and a target adjustment stand configured to moveably hold a target. The target adjustment stand is configured to position the target into a calibration position relative to the sensor on the equipped vehicle based on the established known position of the equipped vehicle on the vehicle support stand whereby the sensor is able to be calibrated using the target.

Target alignment for vehicle sensor calibration

A mobile system and method of calibrating an ADAS sensor of a vehicle by aligning a target with the sensor, where a transport vehicle is equipped with a target adjustment stand for transporting to the vehicle, which is initially nominally positioned in front of the target adjustment stand that includes a movable target mount configured to support a target, with the target adjustment stand including one or more actuators for adjusting the position of the target mount. A computer system is used to determine an orientation of the vehicle relative to the target adjustment stand, with the position of the target mount being adjusted based on the determined orientation of the vehicle relative to the target adjustment stand. Upon properly orienting the target mount, and the target supported thereon, a calibration routine is performed whereby the sensor is calibrated using the target.

Mobile vehicular alignment for sensor calibration

A system and method for aligning a target to a vehicle for calibration of a sensor equipped on the vehicle includes multiple non-contact wheel alignment sensors configured for use in determining the orientation of tire and wheel assemblies of the vehicle. A target adjustment frame includes a target mount moveably mounted on a base frame, and includes multiple actuators configured to selectively move the target mount relative to the base frame, where the base frame is in a known orientation to the non-contact wheel alignment sensors. A computer system selectively actuates the actuators to position a target relative to the vehicle, with the target mount being moveable about a plurality of axes based on the determination of the orientation of the vehicle relative to the target adjustment frame to position the target relative to a sensor of the vehicle whereby the sensor is able to be calibrated using the target.

Vehicle alignment and sensor calibration system

A jet injection device with a fluid chamber in a housing member for holding about 0.02 ml to about 3 ml of a medicament. An injection-assisting needle has an injection end that extends from the housing for inserting into a patient to a depth of up to about 5 mm. A force-generating source is configured to apply a pressure reaching about 100-1000 psi to the medicament in the chamber to expel the medicament through the injecting end of the needle.

Needle assisted jet injector

A needle assisted jet injector and method for jet injecting medicament are disclosed. In one embodiment of the injector, the needle is retractably located within an injector nozzle assembly. Upon activation of the force generating source, a portion of the needle extends past the nozzle assembly and penetrates the outer layer of skin to deliver the medicament via jet injection to a deeper region. After activation, the needle retracts back into the nozzle assembly. In another embodiment, the needle is fixed to the end of the nozzle assembly. In both embodiments, the length of the portion of the needle that penetrates the skin is less than 5 mm.

The invention relates to methods and devices for delivering medicament by jet injection to an injection site in a patient. The method includes inserting a needle into an insertion point, wherein the needle has a length of less than 5 mm and is operatively associated with an orifice in a nozzle assembly in fluid communication with an ampule chamber containing the medicament. The needle extends less than about 5 mm from the nozzle assembly orifice when the medicament is expelled. Next, a force generating mechanism is activated, and a pressure wall member that is operatively associated with the force generating member moves in response to the activation of the force generating mechanism at a speed sufficient to jet inject the medicament from the ampule chamber through the orifice and needle under a pressure of less than about 4000 psi to deliver a substantial portion of the medicament through the needle and past the insertion point to the injection site. The needle tip maybe part of a retractable needle of a jet injection device, or is part of a fixed needle of a jet injection device.

A lock system for casegoods, such as desks, cabinets, storage units, wardrobes and the like, includes an elongated, flexible tape or lock member having a plurality of spaced lock studs positioned thereon. A lock actuator moves the tape between unlocked and locked positions. Catches are mounted on the drawers, doors and the like of the article. When the flexible tape is moved to the locked position, the lock studs block or prevent opening movement of the drawers or doors due to contact with the catches. The flexible tape is routed through channels or other mounting structure formed in panels and tops of the article of furniture. An interlock mechanism, which may be integrated with the lock member, includes a lock lever, a cable attached to the lock lever and a plurality of interlock cams. Control members on the drawers rotate the cams to take up the cable causing the interlock lever to pivot and engage the lock member, thereby moving the lock member to a locked position. The interlock mechanism may include a plurality of force generating members which act upon the lock member upon the opening of a drawer. The force generated by each of the members is insufficient in and of itself to move the tape to the locked position. The force generated by two of the members is, however, sufficient to move the tape to a locked position, thereby preventing opening of a second drawer.
