Novel tools and techniques for implementing a ubiquitous in-cloud microsite solution includes transmitting one or more site parameters from a network device to an in-cloud microsite generator, the network device communicatively coupled to a user device, wherein the network device is configured to allow the user device to communicate over a communications network, generating a microsite based on one or more site parameters from the network device, displaying the microsite generated by the ubiquitous in-cloud microsite generator to the user device, authenticating the user device via the microsite, wherein the microsite performs handshakes between the network device and an at least one second device to authenticate the user device, and allowing the user device to access the communications network once authenticated.

A method for auditing installation of communications facilities. Network engineering information is received. The network engineering information may include telecommunications installation requirements and a budget associated with one or more telecommunications projects. A portal is displayed to receive telecommunications installation information from one or more contractors assigned to perform the one or more telecommunications projects. Auditing information associated with the one or more telecommunications projects is received. The auditing information and the network engineering information are automatically compared to the telecommunications information to determine deviations for multiple criteria. The deviations are reported for adjusting the compensation of the contractor.

A system and method for strategic network planning includes a service forecast module that determines a forecasted service need for additional telecommunication network services. A network equipment module is in communication with the service forecast module. The network equipment module is operable to determine an equipment need for telecommunications network equipment in response to the determined forecasted service need. The equipment need includes a list of equipment that is desired to meet the forecasted service need. A task module is also in communication with the network equipment module. The task module is operable to determine task needs in response to the determined equipment need. The task needs include a list of tasks that need to be completed to meet the equipment need. A project module is also in communication with the task module. The project module is operable to calculate a project start date. The project start date is calculated in response to the determined task needs. The project module is further operable to automatically initiate at least one task by the project start date.

System and method for strategic network planning

A system and method for managing research produced by outside research vendors includes a storage unit, data repository stored on the storage unit, and a processing unit in communication with the storage unit and data repository. The processing unit may be configured to collect first research reports from first and second research vendors, where the first and second research reports have first and second formats, respectively. The processing unit may further be configured to reformat the first research reports from the first format into a third format, reformat the second research reports from the second format into the third format, store the reformatted first and second research reports in the data repository, and provide access to the first and second research reports in the third format to members of the organization.
