An apparatus includes a support frame, a resilient member, a seat, and a retainer. The resilient member has a first end portion configured to be coupled to the support frame and a second end portion, opposite from the first end portion. The seat is configured to be coupled to the second end portion such that the seat is suspended from the support frame by the resilient member. At least one of the first end portion and the second end portion includes multiple sleeves, each defining an opening therein. A portion of the retainer is configured to be disposed within a first one of the sleeves and coupled to at least one of the seat and the support frame such that a position of the seat relative to the support frame is adjustable by disposing the portion of the retainer within a second one of the sleeves.

The glider includes a base, a carriage that moves in an oscillatory motion along a predetermined path with respect to the base, and seat connected to the carriage. The seat is rotationally repositionable about an axis generally perpendicular to the carriage, and is adapted to be reoriented from a first seat facing position to a second seat facing position, and vice versa.

Infant support structure and method of using the same

An adjustable vehicle seat may include an adjustable head support, body support, harness, or any combination thereof. A latching mechanism couples an upper portion of the vehicle seat to a seatback. The latching mechanism provides a mechanical coupling between the upper portion and a seat body. The mechanical coupling permits vertical adjustment of the upper portion, which may be configured to provide an adjustable headrest for the vehicle seat. The upper portion may further include side bolsters and harness guides associated with a attached seat harness and/or an auxiliary seat harness. In this embodiment, the latching mechanism permits simultaneous adjustment of the harness, headrest and side bolsters for accommodating a seat occupant. In the preferred embodiment, the vehicle seat is configured as a child's car seat which may be used as either a forward facing car seat with attached harness or a belt positioning booster seat.

Vehicle seat

An activity center is disclosed that includes a first section and a second section. In one embodiment, a removable connection between the first section and the second section enables detection of infant activity by an actuator in the first section to produce sensible output in the second section. In another embodiment, a connection between a first section that includes a support frame capable of supporting an infant enables detection of infant activity by an actuator in one of the sections to produce sensible output in the other section.

Infant activity center

A Child's stroller including a latch mechanism for convenient folding and unfolding of the stroller, a bolster/tray that pivotally mounts to the upper handlebars of the stroller and is adapted for receiving an infant carrier or car seat for convenient transport of an infant passenger thereof in the stroller. The latch mechanism utilizes a latching handle that pivotally engages a spring loaded collar for disengagement of the stroller frame.

Infant car seat stroller

An infant carrier is shown that can be used as a rearwardly facing infant car seat either by itself or attached to a separate base support, as a stroller seat, or as a carrier for an infant with an adjustable handle attached between longitudinally opposed ends of the carrier. The separate base support can be belted into a vehicle seat and left in place after the infant carrier is removed. The base support has a vertical portion that rests parallel to the back seat of the vehicle and includes a mirror mounted high enough on the back portion to be visible from the vehicle's rear view mirror when the infant carrier is mounted in the base support. The infant carrier has a handle that can be reciprocated in the axial direction of the carrier to actuate two separate attachment mechanisms for attaching the infant carrier to the base support or to a stroller.

Stay in view car seat

The invention includes a pivot that is preferably attached to a child's seat and used to adjust the position of a canopy. The canopy pivot can be adjusted by pulling on the canopy frame to move the canopy to a desired position. No separate locking mechanisms are required for locking and unlocking the canopy at a plurality of different positions. The canopy pivot includes a flange member extending from the child's seat. The flange can have indents or nubs therein which mate with indents or nubs located on the canopy pivot member. The resiliency of the flange member at a specific location between the indents or nubs and the contact point of a retainer structure provides the necessary locking force for keeping the canopy pivot locked and for allowing it to unlock when a person pulls the canopy frame to pivot the canopy about the canopy pivot.
