A combination test device including detection circuitry, outlet tester circuitry, and a single housing. The detection circuitry is configured to wirelessly detect a voltage. The outlet tester circuitry electrically is configured to perform a plurality of electrical outlet testing functions. The single housing has a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an enclosure between the first end and the second end. The enclosure encloses the detection circuitry positioned at the first end and encloses the outlet tester circuitry positioned at the second end.

Combination test device

A shore power cord includes a power supply connector electrically connected to a vehicle connector. In some cases, the vehicle connector includes features to selectively secure the vehicle connector to a vehicle power receptacle inlet. In some cases, the shore power cord includes a test module that evaluates the condition of the cord set and a power supply when the cord set is connected to the power supply.

A multi-scanner device having a detection unit and an outlet tester that can be selectively connected together for convenient use and easy storage. Preferably, a plug on the outlet tester is inserted into a non-functional socket located on the detection unit to form a multi-scanner device with a detachable outlet tester.

A tester is disclosed for testing a wiring state of a live electrical receptacle outlet. The tester comprises a body having a display located thereon and a plug extending from the body. The display is configured to selectively provide a text indicator. When the plug of the tester is received in the electrical outlet, the display indicates the wiring state of the electrical outlet.

A hand tool and an accessory which provide an alarm signal to a user as the tool or accessory approaches a live electrical wire are disclosed. The hand tool or accessory include a non-contact voltage sensing circuit. As the tool or accessory approaches a live electrical wire, the non-contact voltage sensing circuit detects the voltage, triggering an alarm circuit. The alarm circuit provides a visual or audio signal to the user. The hand tool can be selectively coupled to the tool head.
