Embodiments of the invention may provide the ability to convert a non-supported email address (i.e., an email address that conforms to a standard that is not supported by the receiving device) into a supported email address (e.g., an email address that conforms to a standard that is supported by the receiving device). Embodiments of the invention may perform this conversion, for example, when an email communication containing a non-internet-standard email address is to be delivered or synchronized to a mobile device that only supports standard internet addresses. Similarly, embodiments of the invention may perform this conversion when a calendar entry, a task, a contact, or other data package containing such a non-supported email address is to be delivered or synchronized to a mobile device that does not support such an email address.

Dynamic encoding of email addresses

An apparatus includes an organization component to retrieve from task instructions an indication of a type of organization of data set subportions prior to performance of a computation and a data item by which the data set subportions are to be organized, organize the data set subportion among others based on the data item and type of organization, monitor availability of a first processing resource and a first storage resource of a node device employed to organize the data set subportions, and based on insufficient availability of at least one of the first processing resource or the first storage resource, interrupt the organization of the data set subportions, and dispatch a first set of one or more organized data set subportions to be processed; and a performance component to execute the task instructions to process the organized data set subportion.

According to some embodiments of the present invention, email may be managed in a client-server environment by associating an address list with an email at a server. An identifier may be generated that can be used to retrieve the address list associated with the email at the server. The identifier may be encoded to generate a local part of a truncated address list. The identifier may be encoded to generate a domain part of the truncated address list. The address list in the email may be replaced with the truncated address list that comprises the local part and the domain part.
